It's true the next couple months are full of wildcards, but I think in that period, all of Woman King, Smile, and Ticket to Paradise should do well enough as solid breakouts. Quorum's data is also backing me up a bit here with them. Woman King is more reliant on reviews, but they're pushing this more as a fun actioner than an awards title and it'll probably be a solid crowdpleaser even if the RT's in the 60s or 70s. Smile's also got a fun and goofy premise, and Ticket to Paradise has solid starpower behind it. And perhaps Bros can really turn the tide after TIFF WOM drops, though that still has the issue of no starpower.
And yeah there will be plenty of no1currs in September and October, but I have faith those movies can help buoy things, alongside Halloween and Black Adam.
