  1. The marketing for West Side Story has honestly been very weird so far. The big selling point on the show is the romance and the music/dancing, and the trailers have been really coy with that stuff. I understand the romance issue since Ansel Elgort's a piece of shit (believe survivors), but it just seems odd that there's little in the way of singing and what little we have for like instrumental pieces that could be used to tug on the nostalgia heartstrings is underwhelming at best (a minimalist "Tonight" is nice, but not pump-worthy) or nonexistent at worst.
  2. @Bruce I appreciate the posts, but there's no need to post one after the other in rapid succession. Just try to put everything into one post if you can, and it makes things much easier to read.

  4. Moderation If Cap has told you once, she's already told you a hundred times. This Oscars debate has gone on long enough. You're not gonna change each other's minds, you're going into circles, and there's nothing productive going on. You know this is true, so why keep doing it? If you continue these pointless arguments again, at least for the short-term, when Oscar buzz talk is currently muted and nonexistent, you will see warning points from me. If you absolutely, positively, have to talk about how Eternals will be nominated, or that Black Panther got nominated for this and that, or that Marvel haters are bitter about this movie getting Oscar buzz, or that the Oscars are out of touch and shouldn't be focused on anyways, just take it to this thread. Got it? Good. That is all.
