Doesn't seem like it. SpottedRatings, a fantastic database for TV ratings, has indexes on how male-skewing shows are and Bob's Burgers skews 55-57% to guys. http://www.spottedratings.com/2016/09/the-2016-17-daily-year-to-date-rankings.html http://www.spottedratings.com/2017/10/the-2017-18-daily-year-to-date-rankings.html http://www.spottedratings.com/2018/09/the-2018-19-daily-year-to-date-rankings.html http://www.spottedratings.com/2019/09/the-2019-20-daily-year-to-date-rankings.html -
Yeah we're long past the whole "straight to video/streaming = bad" concept from like a decade ago. Even disregarding their actual critical reception, I doubt anybody was like "golly gee wiz, that Luca movie sure looks good. But uh-oh, it's only on Disney+, I guess it's pure garbage". The bigger issue for Lightyear (and all their animated movies from now on) though is that I think a lot of families and audiences would rather just wait a month or two for it to be on Disney+. Encanto made a bigger splash on streaming because people would have rather waited to see it for free instead of paying money for the theater. I thought this would be an issue even pre-pandemic, but after all that's happened these past couple years, this only solidifies Disney's animated movies as "we'll wait for them" events.

@katnisscinnaplex Jackass Forever is the perfect comp for Bob's Burgers IMO. Both are male-centric movies based on cult, male-centric TV shows. Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent is also a good pick too IMO -

In the article, they mention it's not supposed to be an executive job. If Horn does say yes for whatever reason, it'll probably just be a short-term training wheels thing where he helps give out advice on what are some good film projects, who should run each silo, and so on. Still helpful and beneficial of course.

I see this Matt Ramos dude on Twitter all the time, but it's exclusively people dunking on him for being like "OMG WHAT IF BEN AFFLECK AND CHARLIE COX WERE PLAYING DAREDEVIL IN THE SAME MOVIE 😱". I'm assuming Ramos is probably richer than I'll ever be tho

I'm bored at work, so might as well set this thread up. Title is self-explanatory, so do whatever you want to do with it.
