  1. Mortal Kombat Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-12 and Counting (Fri) Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 39 319 2754 11.58% Total Seats Sold Today: 35 Comp 0.294x of Mortal Kombat T-12 Before Release (2.83M) Well it is an increase from yesterday's comp, but it still seems kind of minimal. But hey, it's still early, and this does seem about right for the cool-down phase.

  3. Mortal Kombat Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-13 and Counting (Fri) Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 39 284 2754 10.31% Total Seats Sold Today: 104 Comp 0.281x of Godzilla vs. Kong T-13 Before Release (2.70M) Really strong stuff so far. GvK didn't really get a huge ticket boost until a few days before release, so it should keep going on up from here in the short-term

  5. While I was getting sales for Mortal Kombat, there were already a few sellouts for this on that same Friday. I knew this was a phenomenon for Japan, but as a non-anime watcher, I had no idea how popular this Demon Slayer show was to the West. I guess it is pretty big here?
  6. Mortal Kombat Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-14 and Counting (Fri) Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 39 180 2754 6.54% Total Seats Sold Today: 82 Comps 0.189x of Godzilla vs. Kong T-14 Before Release (1.82M) This is better. Still on the low side when it comes to the GvK comp (though like I said, bit of a disadvantage), but it's a decent increase IMO and hopefully there will be some strong momentum in the next couple weeks

  8. I honestly think the main reason was because of IMAX exclusivity. The film used IMAX cameras, so Par probably wanted to have at least two weeks of play time. And since Black Widow was coming out a week later, that would have made things tricky.
  9. Can't embed this on IG for whatever reason, but...
