FWIW, when I saw the early screening for Lego Movie 2, they just played the old Shazam trailer. Maybe we'll get something new for the general release, but I guess it makes sense.
Jordan Peele seems like an underrated candidate for a Titanic-esque original blockbuster. Interviews make him seem very keen on making original content, while Get Out was a total crowdpleaser. If Us replicates the same success, he’ll probably pitch a bigly original project. That project can very well be the breakout original blockbuster DAJK wants
Still, this is more VFX-centric than almost all of the movies listed. It’s also larger in scale than something like Goosebumps 2. I still think it’ll make its date, but a delay still wouldn’t surprise me.
A couple days back, Dwanta Claus mentioned that they would start shooting next month
Don't know if they meant early February, or a literal month tho. Either way, even with how fast Sony usually is from filming to release, a delay is still very much possible.
Already have a thread for that.

I was one of the few brave souls who endured Life Itself. And I can ensure you that Oscar Isaac, even as a douchebag asshole, was one of the few things that could be considered tolerable and entertaining. I barely know anything about Dune, but I do know that the dude's got talent and charisma, and he's working with better source material and a director whose delivered great performances out of actors before. He'll be fine.
Same thing here can be applied to Zendaya.
