Temple of Doom > Raiders > Last Crusade > Crystal Skull >>> Dial of Destiny.
Crystal Skull is underrated.
Dial was okay. The train was great minus the AI generated Indy which just felt off. Everything after Marrakesh was great as well. If they just lost most of Brooklyn and half of Marrakesh this movie could have been pretty damn good. There was too much going on in Brooklyn and Marrakesh.

IF this breaks out and does really well domestically Top Gun will have launched Tom Cruise's career twice. Not that it needed launching a second time but you know what I mean.
Part 2 is going to be an absolute action onslaught for 2.5 hours. The way Cruise talks about it is like he knows thats the movies he'll be remembered for. I've never seen him be so happy about a movie still in production, he must he really confident in it.
MCU movies did not deserve those reviews in my opinion. Critics want to be the ones who get asked to attended fancy screenings where they get free shit and they know that wont happen if they disappoint a big studio like Disney. If you're not the one giving the movie good reviews there are others at the publications who will.
Everything to do with Video game culture. It all started with video games getting 90% + reviews regularly. 80's for video games is considered mediocre. That mentality transferred over to movies.
I'm old enough to remember when 65% RT was considered good. Now unless a movie is close to 90's people say it's trash and not worth watching. Some of the best movies from before the 2000's had 60-70RT scores. Video game culture has people brainwashed.
Every time Cruise has a new movie outs its the same thing. Tracking is underwhelming. This might disappoint etc and every time it ends up doing better than expected. His main demo is older, they don't pre-sale and they don't spend their lives on Twitter and reddit.
