  1. 1) that's not true at all 2) Just because a director is a bit shy in public that means he didn''t direct it? Hope you're joking. I bet Sia doesn't even sing her own songs....
  2. Terminator did get a sequel, its coming out later this year. and ofc Pacific Rim did get to 100M. But sure, I take your point. and your'e right Alita will not get a sequel.
  3. I can't remember the last time I saw an animated film in 3D, I might have watched Minions in 3D i am not sure, but I can see that if it's entirely digital creation then 3D might work. Personally I feel 3D films look much more flat than 2D films. plenty of room and he still got it wrong.
  4. Did you see that Cineworld advert a while ago that they played just before the film starts, with some insufferable talking animal eating popcorn and going "Ooh, ads! Oooh the trailers! Ooh, the ads!" like the cinema is having its popcorn and eating it right in front of you while laughing.
  5. The thing is you are punished for being on time when you go to the cinema. If you are on time, then you have to suffer through adverts, and your popcorn and food will be cold by the time the film starts, the ice in your drink will have melted and turned your coke into watery sick. Should reward people for being on time not punish them. I personally tend to arrive at the cinema about 3-5 minutes before the actual film starts, so usually about 20 minutes after the advertised start time. I get to skip all the trailers and if I buy popcorn it's still warm when I eat it.
  6. Didn't even know Mission Impossible had a 3D version. I didnt think any M:I were 3D. Sorry to hear that you get limited 2D showtimes. Here is the opposite, lots of films that have 3D versions, don't get given any 3D showtimes. Such as Fallout like you mentioned. Other big films from last year that got no 3D showtimes near me - Venom, Aquaman, Ant-Man, Spiderverse, Bumblebee, many others I can't think of. I don't even recall Black Panther getting 3D showings though I can't remember for certain.
  7. It's not smart to suddenly out of nowhere not have adverts. Because audiences are used to a film starting say 30 mins after the advertised time, people will show up after the advertised time, and if no adverts then those people miss out on part of the film. not really fair on those people.
  8. Well it's all an opinion. For me I would say 3D does the opposite, it makes the film look more fake. CGI is much more noticeable in 3D, things look more fake. and because the effect itself is not a natural effect it makes the experience feel less real. not to mention it also makes the film darker.
  9. he did ruin Bumblebee but I don't even remember him being in Alita. I had to check wikipedia to make sure he was in it or if you had got the wrong actor.
  10. I've never heard of the word Sematary I thought it was made up for the film? Or is it just a misspelling of Cemetery?
  11. @CoolEric258 what do you mean? It had pet in the title so I assumed it was for kids. all I had seen of it is it listed on BOM on release schedule. had never seen anything else.
  12. its difficult to gauge especially when the price fluctuates between cinemas, I mean some cinemas don't charge any higher for 3D than 2D, while others charge huge premiums.
  13. that's not really down to whether people want to see it in 3D, it's down to how the distributors and exhibitors choose to show it. I don't believe for one second that anyone was "hyped" for the 3D effects in The Meg. If that movie had a high 3D share it's probably because WB mandated that theaters must show it in 3D.
  14. lolololol. I had always assumed from the title Pet Sematary was an animated kids film. whoops.
