Game Night was one of the year's nicest surprises. I say that A) because I expected nothing from it and was not expecting it to be so sharp and also so cinematic (a lot of fantastic cinematography for one thing) and just high quality. and B: because it grossed $69m

I did not know that. I suppose it must say a lot about the quality and importance of the music if one can watch the entire film and not know that it has original songs.

was Roma filmed in colour and then they just got computers to make it b&w in post production for added edginess and Artistic Merit? like Logan and FUry Road? hack jobs.

Okay, right, yes I have just remembered that awful post malone song was done for Spiderverse. I retract my statemet of there being 0 songs. There is one. regardless of what I think about Sunflower, the point remains that A Star Is Born is a MUSICAL film, with terrific songs and great performances. And mamma mia and Floppins are on there as well, both musical films. What the hell is wrong with BOT?

Black Widow is searching for female only director (ridiculous, I know) Birds of Prey is directed by Cathy Yan Wonder Woman 1984 is directed by Patty Jenkins The Eternals is in talks with Chloe Zao Not sure what the fifth one is. Of course, VENOM will be male directed no doubt. That highly masculine top quality artwork could only be made be a man.

i watch about 100 films a year, record in 2015 where I watched over 150 films in the cinema. everyone is different & also bear in mind the price of cinema is different for different people

Marvel: May release is Black Widow November release is The Eternals DC film: the trench? suicide squad is 2021 i think not 2020 right? The Fox films have been cancelled.

Age of Ultron was announced 4 years before release, infinity war announced 4 yeas before release. theres currently nothing in the works. obviously there will be more Avengers films. Duh. but not for a few years. and the last two are one production... i dont know why youd count that

BlacKkKlansman was decent but definitely one of Spike's weaker outings. Won't forget the moment I asked my mum if she wanted to go see Black Klansman with me and she just said "Why would I want to watch a stupid superhero film?"

spiderverse was bad, but then it was a weak year in the animation category so guess it had an easy win.
