I love musicals. They're pretty much the only films that I can rewatch to no limit. I watch South Park movie several times a month. It's like comfort food. Rock of Ages, and the Pick of Destiny, I just have them on in the background while I do stuff on a Sunday afternoon. -
2B would appear to be very very likely but it's not locked. Think some of you are forgetting Deadpool releases this week which is proper competition. Drops will be much worse from here out. In fact Dp2 opens on Tuesday in many markets.

fair enough haha. Maybe not worth it. You should definitely keep an eye out on films around the country because you never know what might be playing within reach. I saw Fellowship of the Ring the other day. I much prefer going to see films I know I like, in the cinema. Definitely. If you ever find an IMAX showing of Avatar, let me know. Would it really matter though? Given the film wasn't shot in IMAX.

the amazing thing about Eurovision is that it manages to get such high viewership when no one actually likes it. On another note I'm pissed that Israel is winning.

When she started, I thought she was singing Avicii lol. But no. I think the singalong is because the performers have all already played in the semifinal so might have gained fans while there? Or maybe there's loads of Brits in Lisbon. Don't know.

Only watched the first version but yeah, Skins is a great teen drama. Deals with a lot of stuff and isn't on the nose.

^ speaking of which, Kung Fu Panda and both its sequels are all better than any of the films mentioned above (TDK, Iron Giant, Spider-Man 3, etc.)

Life of Pi was beautiful in the cinema but I've never felt the need to rewatch it.

Found a screening of Film Which Must Not Be Named (at risk of summoning certain robotic fanboys) in a few weeks. Very tempted to go.

That being said I don't go to art galleries and tell everyone how meaningless the paintings are and all that matters is how much you could flog them for on the black market

I can understand where he's coming from but only if you don't personally care about the medium. For instance I would say if I have to rank the best paintings ever, I would probably rank them in order of what they sold for, because while I dont care about art, it amazes me that a painting has sold for £100 million or whatever.

I personally think ranking movies literally by their box office performance is a ridiculous and stupid way of measuring your "favourite films", but that's just my opinion, and Scholar is entitled to his opinion too. I personally have The Room at #1 and some people might call me a troll for that but it's my list, my opinion, I don't see anyone else being forced to justify their choices.
