Seems to be significantly higher than Ultron in a lot of initial markets. And China is set to have a big increase maybe 100M more than Ultron by the sounds of it. 1.1 / 1.2 is definitely possible, but I'd still say dampen your expectations.

Like I've said. This is going under TLJ. I don't have a predisposed opinion. I go into every one with an open mind and the belief that it is possible to enjoy the film. It just so happens that I don't usually end up liking them. And this is a forum, what's the problem with me posting in threads? My imaginary girlfriend doesn't like going to the cinema, and my parents have no interest in Avengers.

Because it is the consensus. If you get off the internet for once - well put it this way, of all the people in real life that I know who've seen it, ONE HUNDRED PER CENT disliked it. You cannot get more of a consensus than that.

Oh, I see, edit your post now that I've proven you wrong! definitely not my poor reading comprehension to blame. In the UK it varies. Lots of films open on a Wednesday. Some open on Monday or Tuesday if it's in holidays. For example Doctor Strange and Black Panther both opened on a Tuesday because it was in holidays. Ragnarok was midweek too I think, again released in half term holidays. Outside of holidays, big Marvel films as well as the Star Wars films, they always open on Thursday. We have wednesday night previews but they're always after midnight because the cinemas are only allowed to show it on Thursday.

Beating TFA dom with legs from those films would not be "easy", it would have to open to like 350M.

TLJ had better reviews so yes, IW probably going to open a lot lower than TLJ.

Nope. I looked at Rotten Tomatoes audience reviews and picked 5 at random. Seems like they're all negative. Seems to me the consensus is this film is very disappointing.
