With these types it is always the inability to get laid or strike any kind of normal relationship with a woman (which, gee I wonder why) that they project onto EVERYTHING. This tweet is on point regarding top hat Doubting Tommy pictured above who wants to go to court over the existence of what is essentially ladies night
And the men who defend these things usually turn out to be rapists and sexual assaulters.

I think many didn't watch the video and just assumed stuff (I doubt many that actually watched the video went after him).
But out of the hundreds/thousands of movies he does not review every year I wonder how many he make an announcement in advance that he will not review them, if it is almost none, I wonder why he made a video about that one in particular (I imagine that could be a reason why people went after him, projecting potential reason).
I think he only made the video because he was known to be a big Ghostbusters fan so people would have been expecting him to cover the new movie. I think he made the video to say why he wouldn't be covering the new movie at all.

The James Rolfe thing was bullshit. No clue why people went after him for choosing not to review the movie
Let's not forget that the main person attacking Rolfe turned out to be sexually assaulting women.

There's a tweet going around with 30k retweets:
"Theatres: Come see Ghostbusters reboot!
Men: FUCK ACTION MOVIES W/ GIRLS
Theaters: K, you're not invited to Wonder Woman
Men: BUT MY RIGHTS!"This all isn't helping.
But that tweet is funny.
I think the issue is more that if there was an all male screening of something that banned women, there would be MURDER over it.

I thought A24 where releasing this, The Mpaa claim it's Warner Brothers.

"Screen Gems" yeah his will probably be awful! Their track record for horror movies is pretty dreadful. They have a fluke every now and then but it's normally some awful movie that feels more like a product than a movie.
-
To be honest even the bad reviews are getting me hyped for this.
-
When does the review embargo lift? I though it was today.

What's this Dead Awake movie that getting a wide release next week? That just came out of nowhere.

I found BBM to be very effective.
For me the awful editing pretty much killed The Bye Bye Man. The opening alone just leaves an awful taste in your mouth. You have a guy walking around with a shotgun, every time he fires at someone the editing spazzed out. Not to mention he's shooting people point blank and there isn't a single speck of blood to be seen. When I saw it people where laughing.
-
It would be funny to see this become a massive hit considering it was pretty much dumped DTV with zero marketing.

The Bye Bye Man remains the worst film I've seen this whole year.
I think it'll be hard to beat.
Cure for Wellness came close though.
I still can't get over how dreadful the editing was in The Bye Bye Man, did they give it to a chimp? Looked awful. The acting was pretty dire to boot.

This is the best movie of the year so far. It set the bar early and nothing has come close to it.
Um, Monster Trucks, hello?

What did Val Kilmer do?
Was very difficult to work with, pissed off most directors and cast members he worked with. Once his movies started bombing, no one wanted to work with him anymore and his career went DTV.

Although if this was a guy, they'll get millions of chances. I mean woody Allen still works and he's child molester. There are way worst people in HW(mostly men) but still get to work
I dunno, she feels like the female Val Kilmer.

Maybe should could return to the Chucky franchise.

I saw Unforgettable, it's pretty boring and lacks the trashy thrills it should be delivering on. It's like a TV movie that somehow got released into theaters. Also you have to wonder why it's rated R, there isn't nothing R rated in it at all.

They always release a horror movie in the first week of January and it's always dreadful.
-
Insidious Chapter 4 has been pushed back to January 5th which a normally a bad sign.

Yeh, I think Before I Wake is on Netflix everywhere in the world apart from the US, lol.
This is Dimension, they won't release it in June.
I just noticed that Before I Wake is coming to UK Netflix on April 28th, it's an exclusive. At this point I don't know why they'd bother releasing it in the theatre, HD rips have been online for about a year now.
