Cirkus - awful opening across India

People want to watch A2 in the BEST available screens , even in my close group - people are willing to wait for 2-3 weeks to see in IMAX 3D rather than watch in a normal screen. A2 will definitely have a long run especially in premium formats.

Even if opening weekend overseas will be lesser than humungous expectations we've... this will certainly play well over the next 2 holiday weekends and will be close to 1Bn OS with China.

This success is unprecedented for film with no star actor/director...only thing going in its favour is the production house..Hombale films..who seem to be on a roll....Kannada films have stepped up big time.. KGF is to kannada industry..as Baahubali was for Telugu...complete game changers..

Karthikeya-2 is a decent success... from 7L day-1 to 25c full run...excellent multiplier

Avatar-2 will do very well...likely around 250-300c. it will definitely get a long run in premium/IMAX screens

safe to say KGF2 will comfortably win this year at hindi domestic circuit...nothing else is going to come close..

so true.. if Brahmastra also flops...not sure if bollywood will keep targetting pan indian audience... feel bad for Ranbir though..looks like he put lot of effort in these 2 films..

Phase-4 so far has been a mixed bag so far...dont think we will get that Avengers level finale this time around.. Good NWH was good...nostalgia definitely helped it get more $$ than it deserved Shang Chi...one of better origin stories for Marvel Decent/OK DS:MOM, had so much potential to be a bigger success.. Black Widow...weak 3rd act brings down overall viewing experience. Bad/Terrible Eternals , worst marvel movie of all time , PERIOD

Though it worked well for NWH - this multiverse will be difficult to follow for lot of general audience...

2 1000 crore grossers from south in 2 months, if LSC works in China - it can challenge #1 WW crown. Dont see any other movie breaking 500c gross from bollywood other than LSC this year.
