I don't think a movie can be considered a cash grab until it's sole purpose is to milk out everything it's worth with no care for quality or the fans of the series. I don't think it's fair to call all movies cash grabs. -
Or making a shit ton of Direct to DVD sequels like The Land Before Time.

I honestly feel like if the movie was just a cash grab then certain aspects would have been played differently. Plus the movie isn't like TFA where anyone can come in without some knowledge of the previous movies.

Am I the only one not bothered by saturation. If it's a series I love it's more time with the characters and universe and if it's one I don't care for then the fans of that series can still enjoy it. As long as something new and different is brought to the table and it's not generic or repetitive then I don't see an issue.

I had that with the The Last Knight. Homecoming and The Mummy got some pretty good reactions though.

I know I seen it my 2nd time tonight and the pacing of the movie is so great that it didn't even feel like it was over 2 hours. Also it was nice to hear a bunch of people in the theater yell Solo when one of the Before The Movie trivia question was who played the president in Air Force One.

My stepmom went to see Boo tonight and said it was hilarious and the whole theater laughed throughout the whole thing. She's already planning to see it again. I think it could leg its way to 50 million especially with Halloween coming up. You may not like his movies but Tyler Perry knows his audience.

Every time I've seen a preview for Jack Reacher it looks like another Mission Impossible. The Paramount logo doesn't help.

I'm putting my hatred of the first movie aside to check out Ouija: Origin of Evil sometime before Halloween since Mike Flanagan (along with Fede Alvarez) is one of the best in horror at the moment.

They made it worse considering they had the poster up for the past couple months. They weren't going to get it all until they had all the complaints.

So my theater isn't showing Boo this weekend leading to so many phone calls that they had to explain on Facebook that our theater wasn't in the top grossing locations leading to many upset people. They plan on getting it next week though.
