With the year Disney's been having so far I really hope it's another Toy Story 3 quality wise instead of a Cars 2 or Monsters University (which I thought was ok but nowhere near the level of the first).
I played the first games when I was like 12 and if the movie had come out around then I might have been interested but not now. Plus video game adaptations are usually never good.
She was pretty good in We're The Millers too.Anyway Keanu was pretty good. The cat really did make the movie. I was hoping it could have at least done Lets Be Cops numbers this weekend.
Was going to wait and Redbox JB but the reviews and WOM have me seeing it sometime next week. A couple of my friends said it was incredible. Nice to see Disney on a deserved roll with critics and the box office. (Finest Hours excluded).
The ads say it's a spiritual sequel. To me the only connection is they're coming of age films set in different decades and of course directed by Linklater. Who knows maybe in ten years he will do the 90's.
Well seen God's Not Dead 2 tonight with my family since my mom really wanted me to go and I feel like it wasn't as bad as the first (not saying much) although there were definitely some eye rolling moments.
Spoilers
Only thing I'm really looking forward to in April is Everybody Wants Some. Might check out Hardcore Henry and BVS again since I got some free movie cash for it.
While I thought BVS was decent enough I completely understand why it's having such a huge drop. The fact is like MOS and most of Snyder's movies it's divisive to the GA. At this point I could care less what role (if any) Snyder has with the future of the DCEU.
