I was just thinking about this. The same thing happened to me with JW and American Sniper.

If Deadpool can (possibly) get $300 million. I'm hoping Batman V. Superman and Civil War can at least get $400 million.

Parents see a superhero and automatically think it'll be fine for their kids. I've seen so many posts on Facebook telling parents not to take their children to see Deadpool.

When the next 3 showings of Deadpool were sold out me and my friends were close to seeing Zoolander 2 but decided we would be better off saving our money. There were a few couples in front of us who ended up seeing How To Be Single due to the Deadpool sell outs. One man and his sons even decided to see Hail Caesar instead.

I'm just hoping that Deadpool over performing is a good sign for the rest of the comic book movies being released this year.

What about something like The Deep End where Deadpool is hired to kill Wolverine. Vs. movies are in right now.

I still saw it in theaters. Just the next weekend. I'm still a big MCU fan but the Thor films are my least favorite. I'm hoping Ragnarok changes that.

Deadpool over Suicide Squad

Since I had to work last night and I already made plans to go out of town with some friends tonight we decided to see Deadpool there instead of my local theater. We tried to get tickets to the 6:20, 7:20, and 8:10 showings and every one ended up being sold out.( There usually isn't big crowds at my local theaters and not to familiar with this theater so we didn't think to get advance tickets). There was no way we could wait till the 9:30 So now I can't see the movie till Monday or Tuesday. First CBM I haven't seen OW since Thor: The Dark World.

Woke up expecting something around $6-7 million was shocked to find 12.7. So far 2016 has been a good year for Fox. So what are people's predictions for Gambit ?

First review on RT is a rotten 1/5. Hoping it's not another Dumb and Dumber 2.

My mom's one of those that will see every Sparks adaptation and she loved The Choice. I think there definitely is a niche audience that if they enjoyed one of his movies will enjoy them all. She did bring up how the main guy reminded her of Matthew McConaughey. Not in looks but the way he talked and his mannerisms.

I haven't disagreed with critics this much on a movie in quite a while. I'm not saying it should be critically acclaimed but it was way better than Vacation and Ted 2. I mean This Is The End and Neighbors have 83% and 73% on RT and to me they have the same type of inappropriate, raunchy, and dumb jokes.

Ended up seeing Dirty Grandpa with some friends tonight and I can honestly say it will probably be one of my new guilty pleasures. Sure it was crude and offensive humor but everyone in my group and the theater seemed to enjoy it. Sometimes it feels good to just turn your brain off and enjoy a dumb comedy.

So I take it from being on the poster that Alison Brie is one of the main characters yet she's barley in any of the marketing. I understand Wilson and Johnson help sell the movie but has she even had any lines in the trailers or tv spots ?

I like to look at reviews to see what the overall consensus of a movie is. I never let it stop me from seeing something that interests me. Although sometimes if the reviews are bad enough I'll wait for Redbox.

I'm a straight guy who doesn't enjoy movies like Pitch Perfect or Nicholas Sparks movies but I'm not going to knock a straight guy that does. Movies are subjective no matter what the genre. That's like saying everyone that likes Star Wars is a nerd who lives in their mom's basement.

Proud to say same here. Although my mom has seen every one and already has plans for The Choice.

23 degrees currently. Will be in 58 degree weather tomorrow which will turn 75 by Tuesday. For those in Florida how's the IMAX at Universal's AMC ? I might re-watch The Revenant with some family members once we get done at the park .
