    FWIW, there are still some 20 million people under flood warnings here in the USA, so there's a chance that this still might be a little deflated.

    I still say TFA is gonna make at least 300 million in China. Everything I've read says that the hype is ramping up to another level after the premiere. Think TFA will unseat Furious 7 as the 3rd place OS champ and end up with somewhere in the ballpark of 1.25 billion.

    What's up with ya'all? The atmosphere 'round here seems dead and dormant. Looks like holiday hangovers, shitty weather, and a merely gargantuan 2nd weekend performance from TFA sent everybody into the Doldrums. Definitely not as fun as a week ago. What will it take to get everybody in the mood to party again? $35 million Monday????

    49.3 isn't surprising at all. We should have seen this coming after Thursday's better-than-Avatar drop. Not unreasonably to say all of the new releases snatched at least 5 million from TFA's number. Today and tomorrow will be huge. I think today will get 57 million and tomorrow 47 million for a weekend of 153 million. Still insane.

    About to watch Christmas Vacation with the family so I can't be on numbers watch for the next few hours. Is it safe to say that the Great Xmas Panic of 2015 is over and that rth's last update indicates we're headed to 50 mil?

    So, it looks like most people are thinking that this is gonna be a close battle with Avatar's final run. What kind of weekday/2nd weekend numbers would TFA have to get to look like it might take a run at 850, 900, or more? 40 mil weekdays? 55 mil Xmas? 165 2nd weekend?

    I wonder, if everybody had to come up with updated guesses at TFA's final domestic gross, what the average would be. Now that we have the benefit of the great reviews and the unbelievable early numbers. I'd have to guess around 875-950 million.

    Can somebody please kinda explain Han's death scene to me? So, Kylo Ren mentions something about knowing what he has to do, but he needs help. He then drops his helmet and holds his lightsaber out to Han. Han grips both ends of it with Kylo's grip in the middle. They struggle for a second, and then Kylo simply pushes the button and the lightsaber had been aimed at Han the whole time? Am I getting it right?
