For new sci-fi big budget flicks looks like they should at least have a star who have decent box office pull...it was reported Cruise was considered for this. Things would have been entirely different with Cruise/Pitt in this.

I am also skeptical to watch this one in 3d...as the movie is dark (felt same about MOS)...but theaters nearby me are mostly playing this in 3d
