  3. Yes...with around $100m budget only, $340-350m WW will be great for this..although the movie doesn't look much better than X-Men Origins: Wolverine
  4. As of now I think it will be 6.5/10 for me, I didn't got bored anytime...but didn't thought it was great either...was good timepass though...3d was fantastic

  6. South Korea came in as the biggest overseas performer for the popcorn flick with $9.6 million. . Russia contributed a $9.3 million weekend that scored 177% above the Transformers 2 opening in the country and 208% ahead of the debut of War of the Worlds. Mexico brought in $5.8 million, placing behind the runaway success of Despicable Me 2 for the #2 film in the territory. A tsunami ripped through Taiwan over the weekend but couldn't stop a fantastic $3.5 million performance from the Guillermo del Toro film. Pacific Rim became the biggest opener of the year for Warner Bros. in Thailand, grossing above Man of Steel with a $2.4 million debut. Pacific Rim took in $3.2 million from 907 screens in the United Kingdom, ranking second in the market behind the premiere of Monsters University. The film struggled against the opening of The Heat and the fourth weekend of Despicable Me 2 in Australia, coming in third place with a $2.6 million opening.   7. For new sci-fi big budget flicks looks like they should at least have a star who have decent box office pull...it was reported Cruise was considered for this. Things would have been entirely different with Cruise/Pitt in this.

  10. Those are Thursday numbers zack...I think around $14-15m Friday is possible as it opens in countries UK, India and Mexico
  11. I am also skeptical to watch this one in 3d...as the movie is dark (felt same about MOS)...but theaters nearby me are mostly playing this in 3d
