  1. China's run is over so it will take hit this weekend...lets see where it ends without Japan
  2. JW is beast...Universal low balling the weekend estimates once again keeps everyone glued with mystery/suspense...if last weekend was for OW record, here we are now for 2nd weekend record...and JW does it again...in style
  3. The early reviews are not bad but not very enthusiastic...IO breaking out could also hurt this.
  4. This could have been its Friday's number (excluding mid-night previews)
  5. This have to be one of the most shocking record if not the most....its crazy to think what its going to make now in second weekend was predicted as its OW numbers by many...heck even $70-80m OW number wouldn't had been crazy and people would have told such low numbers was bound to happen...as the sequel was unnecessary and trailers were cheesy and so on...and it will end its run with around $220-230m. Now the OW is itself came close to that lifetime gross... I have yet to see but I won't complain much as JP is among one of my all time favorite movies and among top 5 of all time action/adventure/sci-fi movies.
  6. Monstrous opening indeed...anything above $125m would have been excellent..but anything above or around $150m is mindblowing...didn't expected this to open so well...we do love dinosaurs..don't we
  7. Looks really good...glad to see this is in more element of The Devil's Backbone than Pacific Rim.
  8. Indeed very weak number..and now might wrap up under DOS which is poor for a final...but its not all so shocking. Hobbit isn't on the same level as of LOTR. Poor decision of splitting this into three movies made the quality go down even further..I have yet to watch the movie to make my own judgement but this have received even poor reviews than the first two which doesn't makes things bright for its wom or legs.
  9. Indeed excellent..its OS performance have blew past my expectations...with low buzz and not so popular star cast I thought around $350m OS will be good result..never thought it will come anywhere close to Inception's number which had everything going in its favor that time
  10. Planning to catch this one again this weekend...haven't repeated any movie in last couple of years...yes liked it so much
  11. Omg..I was so scared but I just loved it. The sheer ambition and scope of the movie blew my mind...couldn't care for the flaws. Oh my my..this is so monumental and grand both thematically and visually that it needs some time to sink in. But boy what an experience...this will be remembered and discussed in years and decades to come. Not a typical sci-fi. In the age of endless remakes, sequels and superheroes, Nolan is one such visionary director who shows how good and inventive a blockbuster could/should be. After the first viewing this will be my second favorite Nolan flick after The Prestige. The acting was good all around and again so very very human performance from Oscar winner McConaughey. This needs multiple repeat viewings...one of the greatest sci-fi movies of last decade. I am still amazed and shaken by the experience...one of the most ambitious and grand movie ever made. It was marvel to watch...so beautiful to look at and yet so emotionally human...monumental...just monumental achievement.
  12. lol @ all these superstar movies....from jai ho to kick to bang bang to singham returns and hny...all are utter craps...pity they still make so much of money
  13. To my surprise I loved the movie hell lot more than I expected...and what a performance from Shailene Woodley...Hazel Grace...I have saved my 10 for this
