Market growths more than make up for the change in XR rate, Avatar grossed $200m in China which was the highest grossing film there at the time by far

Now that was just jokes about the 2.5x multi but... If Avatar 2 is to become the highest grossing film in America, I think that puts it odds on for $4b total. I think China can match DOM and then easily gross the 2b needed for the rest. All I'm saying is that if Avatar 2 becomes the highest grossing domestic film of all time (like Avatar and Titanic before it), it's going to make gang busters overseas.

Oh there's no doubt in my mind that Avatar 2 will be #1 that weekend. I think Sherlock 3 will do better than 2 though.

Avatar had 2.5x multi against next non-jim! I'm praying Infinity War P2 makes 4 billion dollars so we can see the first 11 digit gross, that way, everyone's happy.

If it does somehow pull it off (fat chance), then A2 will just come in another 18 months and crush what ever the current record is. Did you know that when Avatar ($2.78b) came out, the next highest grossing non-Jim film was $1.1b? Titanic was double the second highest grossing film at the time of it's release also.

They were all very successful except for The Abyss which broke even. Also T2 and True Lies made a hell of a lot of money for their times, T2 actually was the first film ever to make over $300m overseas. Jim was noted saying that The Abyss's love story wasn't cliche enough. Lets not forget The Terminator made crazy profit due to it's tiny $6m budget
