See, that makes me kind of happy. Mostly because i gave up on trying to catch up when I'm away from the computer.
I found a place that likes movies and numbers. It's a home to me.
The nerd in me wanted to point out that some Phil Lemarr did not play the same Green Lantern Ryan Reynolds did.
Then I realized it didn't mattered, and hung my head in shame.
It's been kind of how I've been leaning to BvS. Even if it's terrible, I kind of knew I'd be seeing it in theaters. The question now is if I see it this weekend or wait. I don't think I have the patience to wait.
I'm stuck in a conundrum. I have a free ticket for my local theater. It's only good till mid April. Nothing much I want to see between now and then. So I'm torn between seeing BvS or Zootopia (again).
Any advice?
I thought Jessica Jones was darker, but I'll fully admit I haven't finished season 1, nor started season 2 of Daredevil. But Jones was some emotionally draining stuff in there.
You're right. I could be watching a television show that involves the painful emotional backlash of both physical and mental rape of it's main character.
Still, critics loved Dark Knight, so the problem isn't that BvS is too dark, its that the tone didn't work. (From what I can tell.)
I usually take any movie with a psychotic who blows up the main character's love interest, scars one of his closest friend (mentally and physically), and slams a man's head onto a pencil, as dark.
