  1. Hm? He said IM did slightly more than MoS. Which can only make sense if we consider DOM, not WW. Because MoS beat both IM1 and 2 WW with 668 to both their 585 and 623. And considering that IM1 and 2 were incredibly close to one another as far as DOM, I'm not sure how you got IM2.
  2. There was a shooting in DC. Though haven't heard anything about it being terrorism.
  3. Who actually says things like "Prove to them God is dead."? (And wow...Melissa Joan Hart. That's a name I haven't heard since the 90s.
  4. That's a decent chunk of change. Though coming under Deadpool seems like a bad headline in the making.
  5. Yeah, I looked at last year, and there is a drop. Maybe it's just a gut reaction to the drop. It's still too early for me to get a feel for the run yet.
  6. I've only been tracking box office for a short while, so holiday weeks are still a thing I'm figuring out. But I don't think I've seen many drops on a Tuesday before. If 12M is the right number, it feels bad.
  7. Someone will correct me, but I had always believed that this was because of directing for voice acting, and directing animation.
  8. So, we can't consider it a criticize when we dislike a hero that is in portrayed in a manner we don't like? I mean, we can criticize Roger Moore, or Lazenby, Or Dalton, or Craig, or Brosnan for being a Bond we don't like. We can criticize RDJ, or Cumberbatch, or Jonny Lee Miller for a Sherlock Holmes we don't like. We can criticize Chris Pine for being a Kirk we don't like. BUT we can't criticize this Superman, because we don't like his portrayal. How about just letting people not like this version of Superman? It's okay, and a legitimate criticism people may have. We don't have to agree with each other, but not liking the way a character is portrayed isn't the same as being unwilling to see a different perspective.
  9. Speaking of which, I should actually watch Donner's Superman. I've only seen clips, and the hilarious spinning the world backwards thing.
  10. Sooo many ways I could take and respond to that. so I'll pick one. You hope DC never turns critically and commercially successful with nearly a decade of films that are generally well liked by the general audience?
  11. I think you missed my point. We didn't get a happier Superman. I have no faith that we'll get a happy Flash, or Cyborg, or Aquaman. Terrio can say all he likes about it being lighter, but I have no faith in him, or Snyder, or WB to provide these things.
  12. My original post was BvS isn't too dark for kids. (course, I was watching horror movies since I was 1 years old...so...grain of salt.)
  13. People always underestimate kids. Plus, I can't sit here and say Zootopia isn't too dark for kids, which had genuinely frightening moments, and claim that BvS is.
  14. Damn...This is why i need to start cutting out my heart. I over estimated it's hold.
