  1. Ohh this is fun. Police Academy 5: Assignment Miami Beach. That is kind of scary, for sooo many reasons.
  2. Tums should help with that. Since I'm not going to take this seriously. I'll go back to lurking now.
  3. To bring another Frachise. Bond. In much the same way actors are under the shadow of Connery, given time most are shown to be respected in their own ways, and the shade is lifted. Snyder's contempt for Superman and his supporting cast is painful. Why else would you call shooting Jimmy Olsen in the head, "fun".
  4. Given time, and better scripts, he'd be a liked Superman. I hope he gets the chance. He is no where near my problem with MoS or BvS.
  5. To be entirely fair to Cavil, he is trying to go against a definitive portrayal with Reeves...
  6. He did Scott Pilgrim? Didn't know that, but explains a bit. Shaun of the Dead (and the other two) really get enjoyment from me because I like Simon Pegg so much.
  7. This us way too late, to chime in on this topic, but am I the only one who doesn’t like Edgar Wright? Kind of glad he didn't direct Ant-man.
  8. I would say that while those films contained Marvel properties does not mean that Marvel had much to do with their production. Since Marvel studios, the actual studio run by Marvel to make movies only released it's first film in 2008, it isn't unfair to separate out those films from what came before. (Like how most separate Fox Marvel films.) Of course, 2008 does predate Disney's acquisition in 2009...so, Marvel did make movies before it's Disney phase.
  9. That is not untrue. Still enjoy them. I also enjoyed BvS. Enjoyed most all comic movies I've watched. Except MoS.
  10. Course...that being said, I'm more likely to watch most anything the MCU has put out than the Dark Knight trilogy. I only have one Nolan film I ever repeat watch.
  11. I'll always put Nolan over anything Marvel has done. I love all three Dark Knight movies. I would say they are better films than anything Marvel has done.
  12. Maybe, but I was more or less talking about their string from Toy Story to Toy Story 3. And I'd still put Disney Animation above Pixar, as far as just being historically better.
  13. Well, it's not impossible, nor has a studio put out a long stretch of films that are well received. 11 from Pixar. WDAS has had 9 straight critical successes in a row. They have good long stretches throughout their history.
  14. What I wouldn't give for your relentless optimism.
  15. Blade- Shit. Never mind, Ridley Scott.
  16. Shhhh. BvS was never for family audiences.
  17. This strikes me as a bad idea.
