My 30M prediction was only off like 20%. No big deal.

So I’m gonna stick with 30M Tuesday too. See how it goes. It’s gotta be right at some point.

I'm still hoping actuals bring it up to my 26.9M prediction, lol

  2. The Deadpool trailer got the biggest laugh out the audience all night, which is saying a lot since there are some really funny scenes. Even I was still laughing at a joke well into the following trailer. I'd be shocked if it didn't do at least 150M OW.

They didn’t and , for me, the only good X-Men films are x2 and first class. The X-men franchise has huge potential and people will see that when it escapes singer’s and fox’s claws. The X-Men must have a menacing and scary magneto, a great leader similar to captain America in cyclops , a juggernaut causing chaos like hulk e.t.c

The first Spiderman and X-Men movies only did well cause we didn't know any different. Marvel hadn't shown them how it's done. I loved them at the time, but they certainly don't hold up well. Not by today's standards. The best they've done was DoFP and even that's only alright. Not sure about why people loved Logan. It wouldn't even crack my top 20 SH movies.

I almost think that maybe X-Men belongs as a GoT/Daredevil type series. How Star Trek shows focus more on character development and thought-provoking stories vs Star Wars. This would allow all the franchises to not interfere with each other. Disney is launching their own streaming service after all.

I am really curious how Ms Marvel is gonna do now.  :D Let's see how Marvel handles a superhero which is potentially as powerful as Superman.

*ehem* That's CAPTAIN Marvel. She didn't go to Captain school to be called Ms, thank you very much!

I'm currently sitting in Super Troopers and there's about 20 other people in here but they're all chatting away during the pre show  about how excited they all are. Didn't go as a group, but just stragers talking about their excitement for this movie.

Goddamn, this movie has its fans. Like it's own Avengers, just a lot smaller.

Loved the first one. Was super hyped for the second. Shaved my goatee down to a mustache for preview night. Loved it. The first third was kind of slow, but the rest was hilarious.

lol @ people thinking this only does around 600-650m domestic if it has that astronomical 73m(-12% WTF) Sunday

Yeah, my 630M is nothing now. 650M is the floor at this point. I just don't see it doing less than 2.5x

The first time I saw Infinity Wars I loved it, just got out of my second viewing and I love it even more. The stakes are so high and the emotions are strong. I really honestly feel a little tiny bit shaken up after seeing that movie lol

Definitely better the second time. Can't wait for my third!

I wouldn't say people are used to 3D but don't care as much. People want a movie that 3D is a must-see and since Avatar I don't think we had movies like that.

Avatar 2 will be a must see in 3D that's the difference.

Any live action movie that's actually filmed in 3D has been just as visually appealing as Avatar. Transformers and The Hobbit movies come to mind. I was one of the few fans of 3D HFR. Marvel has certainly improved on conversions over the years, but it's still not the same.

Going to see it again for the 3rd time @ 7pm. This will be my last time in theaters until May 12th when I'm taking my mother (who loves Thor). The showing is down to 4 seats left so demand still seems to be incredibly high. Sub 20% drop is my estimation.

Took my mom on Friday cause I love her and wouldn't want to torture her with the wait. She's hooked on Marvel movies. Seen them all at least twice minus BP. Up to date on SHIELD as well.

I once tried to rewatch Avatar. Fell asleep around 1 hour into it, never tried again.

Same. Saw it two or three times in the theater, but without the amazing 3D visuals at home, I haven't been able to watch it since.

Has anyone seen the roasting The New Yorker is getting?
