it's also probably because after the initial frontloading most cape movies have from the fans, they play out more as family movies, box office wise. Therefore Saturdays and Sundays will tend to have solid increases from Fridays.

WW had girl power behind it. Aquaman will have toxic masculinity. Besides, I don't see anyone paying tickets to see discount Kevin Smith swimming.

That's true, but for a thread called Franchise Wars, things in here are modest, compared to let's say the Justice League thread. We're getting into really controversial territories here, but let's just say that if BKB came out and said that TDW/AOU is a masterpiece, even mcu fans would scorn him.

I understand where you're coming from, but I disagree. I believe a lot of people here are genuine fans, and they don't even come close to being zealots.

That's how they work. Fandom is a very light word to describe them. Hooligans or zealots would fit better. And trust me, I don't mind the denial and the conspiracy theories all that much, I find them comical, but we've reached the point where we have death threats to critics who don't praise these movies.

One can only hope that DC will now give some chances to their less known but excellent superheroes like Plastic Man, Ted Kord & Booster Gold or Mr.Terrific. But who am I kidding, bring in MORE BATMAN
