    I thought him staying dead was part of the charm of the first movie. Eh, not sure how I feel about him coming back. I'll just have to wait and see the reasons.

    DOn't get me wrong, I'd love for X Men to finally get some love as I actually tend to prefer them above the other CBMs and I've been looking forward to Apocalypse on a big screen since the first X-Men movie but the truth is; I doubt it. Even if this X-Men movie has the biggest numbers of the franchise(and think/hope it has a shot at getting close to $1 billion WW) Civil War is still going to be too big for it. PS: Why add "movie" after "CBM" if CBM basically means "Comic Book Movie"?

    Not me nor my family are anything close to being trekkers and yet we all enjoyed both of these Star Trek movies just fine, so you might have a point there. Heck, I even thought this trailer everyone seems to hate was charming. I think it will do fine WW. A $500m target seems plausible.

    This is the kind of movie that I'd never go out of my way to watch but fully expect to actually enjoy once I get to watching it. Do people really think the whole whitewashing controversy really didn't affect its BO? I'm not so sure. Didn't the studio go quiet with the marketing for a time there while the controversy was at its peak? I think it's just a case of people forming their opinions before they actually saw the movie. Plus the whole "hating CGI is cool" mindset didn't help it much.
