Set inside an iPhone, you say? I wonder how much money exchanged hands for that to happen? Regarding the movie itself, you know, you can make anything work if you put enough thought into it. Don't knock too hard at it until you see the first trailer. That's the kind of film that we really can't know how it will turn out.

Uncharted | February 18, 2022 | Trailer on Page 28!

That would be really bad. I hope they both do well enough to at least not be considered big flops. I wanna decent video-game movies, come on Hollywood, make it happen! -
I really, really want this to be true. I want this movie to really break out and be successful but alas, I just don't think it will. I'll be happy with 500m WW. I'm out.

NOW YOU SEE ME 2 | June 10, 2016 | New Trailer on Page 17

On one hand they didn't bother to work around Isla Fisher's pregnancy and that saddens me as I quite like her but on the other hand they've got freaking HARRY POTTER! I'm sold. -
Underworld: Blood Wars | Jan 6, 2017 | First Trailer on Page 7

And that's why it's on its 5th movie, because they just aren't worth anything to the studio and none liked them, so it makes total sense that this one should go straight to DVD. We all have our own opinions I suppose. -
He's a bit wild but he always delivers, doesn't he? Still, this is taking quite a long time. One of the biggest regrets of mine(relative to movies, that is) is never having watched Avatar in 3D. Hurry up and deliver this one already so I can watch it in the biggest screen I can find.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is one of my favorite movies ever and, for obvious reasons, the humor and action of this one seems so similar; I'm sure I'll love the crap out of this one too.

Is this a fan-made movie? I don't know it, looks decent as far as fan-made movies go, but I don't watch fan-made low-budget movies.

Very good point. I don't see any small or even medium-sized studio trying their hands on CBMs. The last flop was years ago and it was overshadowed by a truckload of much more high-profile flops recently that had nothing to do with super-heroes. Super-hero movies are still a very safe bet for the big studios. I don't see fatigue setting in until Disney/Marvel has to start rebooting characters because of actors leaving and/or their natural story progress coming to an end.

Yup, the decision to keep the TV and the movie universe separate was a conscious one and one that I believe really benefited the TV shows as they can do whatever they want with the material without needing to take cues from a place that isn't necessarily thinking of what's best for them. That's a reason The Flash is one of the hottest things on TV right now. At least DC fans can take heart in that much.

Hey, I care. As for Flash, I believe the opposite. The success of the TV show only put the character more in evidence. In fact he's more popular than ever before I believe and that's a very good sign for the film. If they don't mess the character up and keep him true to his roots(DC's equivalent of Peter Parker, pretty much) then he should bring much needed levity to those movies. I truly believe he could be a bright light in it. Him and Wonder Woman both, specially if her film is half as awesome as I'm hoping it will be. That woman's got spunk.

Do you guys have any idea of the pressure put on the Wonder Woman movie to perform after this disappointment in BO? Jesus Christ, the worst part is that a female superhero movie never performed very well before(not that there are many examples, are there?) and it's a period piece on top of that. I have so much hope for that movie but good God, does it have a huge mountain to climb right now! At least it doesn't have Snyder in it so the critics have less of an excuse to lash out on it. First things first though I guess; let's see how Suicide Squad goes.

This film has an interesting trajectory. I'm sure WB must have shat their pants when the reviews came in destroying this film right before the OW and everything was doom and gloom, hence the Sad Affleck meme. Then the OW actually came and they must have been truly overjoyed that it managed to do pretty damn well anyway, critics being horrible to it and all. Then once the legs started to get real short the smiles must have slowly fallen away from their faces. I imagine the executives of the studio are feeling pretty mixed about all of this. As someone who quite liked this film myself I'm quite a bit sad that the GA seemed to have expected a lighter tone and weren't all that taken by it(shameful slamming by critics didn't help much I imagine) because that certainly signifies some changes and departures from it, even if subtle ones at first. Oh well, at least it didn't outright flop, so the universe itself is safe-ish for now. Here's hoping SS and WW do well.

KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE | Sep 22, 2017 | Trailer on page 15

I thought him staying dead was part of the charm of the first movie. Eh, not sure how I feel about him coming back. I'll just have to wait and see the reasons.
