  1. Mamma Mia is a really embarrassing movie. I guess it's right up TOG's alley then.
  2. I dunno man, you've yet to convince me that you can put Deadpool 2 and John Wick 3 in the same basket. They're such different properties and Wick is gunning for a way lower target than Deadpool is. If Wick 3's total can match DP2's OW, I'd consider that a tremendous success. I don't think we're at the point where cinemas can only support one film at a time.
  3. It's not a DP2/IW situation. John Wick 3 isn't a superhero movie and it's gonna open like 65m lower than DP2 (and that's being bloody optimistic on John Wick 3's end). The audience crossover or superhero fatigue or whatever isn't gonna be the same as it was between IW and DP2. It'll be closer to Fury Road vs Age of Ultron. Plus I'm convinced that IW:P2 is gonna move to April
  4. I don't really get the comp between John Wick and Deadpool. Deadpool made 360m, John Wick 2 made 90m. They're not really batting in the same league.
  5. John Wick 3 is fine where it is. Sure, releasing big ol' blockbusters one after the other is gonna go badly but that doesn't mean you should NEVER RELEASE ANYTHING IN MAY EVER. It's an R-rated action flick, it ain't gonna be cannibalized by Aladdin or anything.
  6. Director and the Jedi is pretty great too. Doesn't go in quite as hard as the prequel docos but still gives some really interesting insight into how these movies are put together. Plus Tele's (⚰️) friend edited it.
  7. It wasn't the map to Luke, it was the map to the first Jedi temple. They knew that was what Luke was looking for when he went missing, hence why they were all looking for the map.
  8. I don't know whose idea it was to play the JP theme in the highest pitch possible but I really hate them for it. Never fails to hurt my ears.
