  1. @cayommagazine More actors and actresses have joined the fray for the Squirrel Girl sequel including Michael C. Hall (Dexter, 6 Feet Under), Jason Derulo (Cats), Jackie Buscarino (Steven Universe, Gravity Falls), Wallace Shawn (Toy Story, Family Guy), Keith David (Gargoyles, The Princess and The Frog) and Jodi Benson (The Little Mermaid) Michael C. Hall plays an undisclosed role but is said to be a central antagonist and a famous Marvel character.
  2. @cayommagazine Lauren MacMullan (Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Simpsons Movie, Zootopia, Wreck-It Ralph) will make her directorial debut for The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl: 2 Fuzzy 2 Furious. MacMullan will write the script alongside Endlss Animation head Meg LeFauve (Medusa, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl), Amanda Rydna (DC Super Hero Girls (2019)), and Seth Grahame-Smith (The Lego Batman Movie) Rebecca Sugar (Notes From The Otherspace, the Can You Imagine? trilogy) will produce as Endless Entertainment CEO Xavier B. Irving and Endless Animation head Chris McKay will executive produce. Due to the abysmal handling of the last two seasons of Star Vs. The Forces of Evil and prior obligations, Daron Nefcy will not be returning to direct but due to contracts will get an executive producer credit.
  3. @cayommagazine Endless Animation’s Squirrel Girl sequel is still on for Y8 but is facing a massive plot overhaul due to complications in the script. The sequel decide to focus more on the characters in the script and dropped the musical element which wasn’t working. The new title for the sequel is The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl: 2 Fuzzy 2 Furious as it keeps the 12/13/Y8 date. Lauren Tom (Futurama, Teen Titans, Friends) has signed on to voice the main antagonist, Mellisa the Malevolent, a time traveling struggling villain from the 31st century who wants to make a name for herself, and like Squirrel Girl, chose her profession for fun and is cheerfully optimistic. Plot will involve time travel, alternate universes, college, the newly licensed and soon to be craved toy of the season Squirrelmobile and Squirrel Girl’s parents as a new synopsis reads “After being a superhero for years, Squirrel Girl (Academy Award winner Anna Kendrick) has it all. She’s gotten the respect she deserved, a plethora of friends and won the heart of her longtime crush Speedball (Daniel Henney) and most importantly, learned to love herself warts and all. But like any sequel, Squirrel Girl has new trials to face, as she suddenly starts to grow weary of the superhero gig as well as feeling unfulfilled. Squirrel Girl decides to embrace her alter ego Doreen Green as she attempts to find herself by going to college alongside her still enrolled best friend Dana (Taissa Farmiga) as well as balance her superhero life, whirlwind romance with Speedball as well as a looming threat: her parents (J.K. Simmons and France McDormand) coming for a visit. However, things become further complicated when a new time traveling supervillain Melissa the Malevolent (Lauren Tom) has come to town, and is revealed to be one of Squirrel Girl’s descendants aka her great (x33 greats) granddaughter, who hatches her own plan to become the greatest villain of all time as her antics interfere with our heroine on a personal and physical level. Can Squirrel Girl master being Doreen Green? Or is she just Squirrel Girl?”
  4. On one hand 90s/00s kids loved Space Jam and LeBron is still killing it. On the other hand WAG is completely incompetent in marketing
  5. @cayommagazine As Heartman sprints to the end of production, Endless is working on another film centered in Barbados, as Irving wants to tell more stories of his culture. Described by studio insiders as the heart and whimsy of E.T. The Extra Terrestrial mixed with the thrills and scares of ParaNorman titled The Good Duppy, directed by Everett Downing Jr. (Hair Love). Set in St. James, Barbados, an anxiety riddled Bajan boy named Tim is devastated by the loss of his grandfather, who was like his best friend. Things escalates as Tim befriends a Duppy, a known to be malevolent spirit who have forgotten who they were as humans that reside on the island but the Duppy turns out to be childlike and friendly. Believing it to be the soul of his grandfather, due to its attributes, Tim must face his fears, travels the island with the Duppy to help it pass on to the afterlife as well fend off other more dangerous Duppies as well as the other supernatural forces of the island.
  6. Decided to rewatch Best Animated Feature winners cause I love animation: Big Hero 6 - C - The animation is lovely, the message about grief and how it effects others is nice and while I like the first twenty minutes, the characters apart from Hiro and Baymax sucks, the action is bland and the writing is uninspired. In short it’s amazing that Disney released The Incredibles ten years before Big Hero 6, and the blandness it has. Spirited Away - A+ - A truly moving motion picture, and is another Mizayaki classic, with stunning animation, loveable characters and a moving script. Thought it was weird when I was a kid but appreciate much more now. Shrek - A- - While the animation has aged poorly, and I do feel some jokes are misses, Shrek is still a delightfully satirical and heartfelt piece.
