  1. AMATW is probably one of favorite Phase 3 film because of how fun it is, and concerned on doing its own thing. I’m excited for AM3 especially with the Kang announcement
  2. I am intrigued by this development, especially if this is a psuedo Young Avengers film. Wonder if they’ll put Young Kang in the movie.
  3. @cayommagazine Endless Animation has bought a new pitch from Taylor K Shaw (Black Women Animate, co-director of The Neighborhood) as the director with Aisha Muharrar (Parks and Recreation, The Good Place) and Kenya Barris (black-ish) on script, that's being fast tracked for Y9, said to be an offbeat comedic musical described as a bizarre mix of “Moana meets Bounty Hamster” with songs from Stephan Bray and Brenda Russell (The Color Purple). The plot is said to be centered on a re-imagining of African and Caribbean folklore, the demigod Anansi, the half-man/half-spider trickster who has lost deity status who survives on wit and outsmarting opponents.
  4. Cendrillion: A Caribbean Cinderella Sugar Cane: A Caribbean Rapunzel
  5. @cayommagazine Infinite Studios has bought a pitch for a thriller titled The City That Never Sleeps from director Gil Kenan (Ripper) with John David Washington (Tenet, The Long Way Home) as the lead actor that is described to be Sherlock Holmes meets Ripper but taking place in the modern day.
  6. Megamind: B+ Hot take time: 1.) 2010 was a better quality year for animation and possibly the best year for the medium in cinema. 2.) Megamind is probably better than the vast majority of MCU movies including every Avengers movie, every DCEU movie not named Wonder Woman and every modern X-Men film except First Class and Logan. But then again Batman: Mask of The Phantasm, The Incredibles series, Megamind and the best superhero movie of all time: Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse shows the most memorable superhero films are animated. (Lego Batman and TTG are fun and we don’t acknowledge Big Hero 6, BH6 is pretty mediocre) Megamind is actually a well crafted superhero film and animated film. A lot of the film’s strengths come from the characters. Pitt, Farrell, Fey and Hill really sell these characters, as well as the film being more dialogue driven despite being a fun comedy. The themes or nature vs nurture are really well done for a family aimed film and the villain is really ahead of the time. However the two things preventing this from greatness is the action scenes aren’t really too dynamic and while really funny, I thought it could’ve been funnier. Megamind is an underrated superhero film I highly recommend.
  7. I mean, I can buy it being better my bottom 3: Far From Home, Civil War and The Dark World but that’s as far as it could go from looks.
  8. @cayommagazine Endless Entertainment is announcing a new original musical for Y8. Seth MacFarlane (The Orville, Toons v Reality, Family Guy) is said to be the lead actor and write part of the script while James Bobin (Dora and The Lost City of Gold, Freddy Zapper) will direct. The film is said to a love letter to broadway musicals as Seth MacFarlane’s character, a sleazy songwriter dealing with writers block, finds himself stuck in his own musical.
  9. @cayommagazine Kirby Howell-Baptiste (The Good Place, Infinity Train) and William Jackson Harper (The Good Place, Ms. Blakk 4 President, Guardians of the Internet) have both signed on for voice roles in Endless Animation’s The Neighborhood. The Neighborhood, like Toons v Reality and The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl will hold Special Amazon Prime Screenings, dated for May 25th, Y8 in order to help boost WOM.
  10. I don’t get why they don’t wait until next year to film. It’s obvious this won’t disappear, the sooner film studios accept this the better, they can move films around accordingly.
  11. @cayommagazine As Endless Entertainment strives for more of a push for black centered entertainment with Y8 with Static Shock: Dakota Legends sequel to Y5’s Static Shock, The Neighborhood, CAYOM’s first mainstream animated film with a black director (Matthew A. Cherry), producers, writers and majority of the cast, and Heartman, Carribean horror film from and DeCosta, has partnered with Milestone Media to use their characters for film adaptations. Plan are to have Icon, Rocket and Hardware join Static in the Endless’ World of DC Characters in the live action front, as it’s rumored the three will be introduced in Static 2

However, things escalate when a series of murders and kidnappings of Star City’s wealthiest people, that leads to The Ninth Circle, an almost Illuminati like group said to have controlled the country for centuries, who is attempting to go after the Green Arrow. Oliver Queen, must uncover the truth behind the organization, battling his way through the various crime groups of Star City controlled by the Circle, such as Count Vertigo (Thomas Kretschmann) and other villains, as well as attempt to prevent a hostile takeover of Queen Industries by his longtime friend/rival Malcom Merlyn (Aiden Turner).”

  16. @cayommagazine Tonight, Endless Animation and The Griffiths will invite you to The Neighborhood.
  17. @cayommagazine Endless Animation has decided to fast track The Neighborhood, an animated fantasy film from Ava DuVernay (Selma, A Wrinkle In Time) and Matthew A. Cherry (Hair Love) for Y8.
