  1. @cayommagazine The full cast for Gateways has been revealed: In addition to McKenna Grace as Bailee and Donald Glover as Levi, the film also stars Awkwafina as Magi, an adrenaline freak Jiminy Cricket like elf that Levi looks for advice. Keanu Reeves as Brutus, the main antagonist, a dimensional traveler seeking to find Finbar Frink, Bailee’s father, the greatest scientist of all known universes to complete a doomsday device. Jermaine Clement as Fido, an anthropomorphic dog who is the mayor of Wagston, where the role of people and pets are switched. Christy Carlson Romano stars as Eeliab, an evil superpowered version of Bailee from a different universe Jason Ritter stars as Finbar Frink, the long lost father of Bailee as well as universe renowned scientist who has mysteriously disappeared for years. Keith David as Cirque, the robot leader of a resistance to exterminate humans Angelia Jolie as Piper, a mysterious dimensional traveler who seems to be after Bailee Kimiko Glenn, Christina Hendricks and Whoopi Goldberg also round up the cast as Dee Bradley Baker is the noises of Stripes.
  2. Endgame did $840M, Aladdin is looking at $325M+, Wick did $150M, and even the underperformers like Pikachu and Pets are still in $140M-$145M range. This summer despite underperformers was more packed than last year not to mention we were considering sub $300M a possibility a few months ago, not all Studios not even Disney should expect monster increases for all of their films. I2’s only worries was IW doing $650M, Solo around $210M, and Deadpool at $325M+. Sure JWFK opens but FFH and TLK are even larger threats.
  3. NOT ALL FILMS ARE THE SAME! TS3 opened nine years ago while Dory and I2 had more relevancy and draw. Not to mention, for I2 it had a weak and starved family slate as well as the CBM craze. TS4 had an uphill battle from TS3 being the perfect ending. A $120M OW for an animated film is excellent.
  4. @cayommagazine Keanu Reeves (John Wick, Toy Story 4) joins the cast of Endless Animation's Gateways, as a major character. Gateways is eyeing an opening around October to November.
  5. Choose Asa Akira. That Up The Butt boom will only help the movie.
  6. The Multiverse is unsurprisingly BS but Mysterio reveals Spidey’s identity to the world. Don’t get me wrong it’s a new angle, but the fact that it’s a post credit scene pisses me off.
  7. After reading some of the spoilers, I got a bad feeling that Homecoming won’t be the second worst Spider-Man film for me.
  8. I swear to god the performances of Dory and I2 spoiled y’al. Not every Pixar sequel will outgrows the other due to popularity otherwise Dory would’ve beat I2, a $125M-$140M OW is still fucking bonkers for an animated movie.
  9. Forky, Duke Kaboom, Ducky and Bunny all had excellent moments and bought enough energy and likability to the movie.
  10. I just want Kingdom of The Sun, that’d be the only live action remake I’d get behind.
  11. That’s the thing, Toy Story and SLoP are very similar but Toy Story does it soooooooo much better, though once you remember the Black Friday cut almost happened, it could’ve been the same scenario.
  12. When you think about without the charisma of the leads, themes, the better jokes and arguably the animation, it would’ve been like SLOP.
  13. I don’t get the love behind Toy Story 1, sure the chemistry between the leads are good and the jokes land but Woody is kind of an asshat at first.
  14. Wall-E (overrated) and Cars 3 (sports movie lover and y’all sleep on it) and This are on the same quality level to me as I enjoyed the hell out of all three of those.
  15. It’s easily the best animated film of the year though. As for ranking, it and Wall-E (need to rewatch as it’s been a while and people were triggered by my comment of Wall-E being good but not a masterpiece) and Cars 3 are having a fierce fight for #11 on the Pixar list
