David Tennant (The Number One Dime) rejoins Mark Dindal in Inspector Gadget in an undisclosed role. Inspector Gadget go go’s to theaters July Y5.
Well if 2LBH is in May-July (going to guess May), and Inspector Gadget will likely strike the week of July, likely after the Fourth of July holiday like DM1 or Pets to avoid Voltron. Not to mention Pokémon 3 in August.
Just reread The Adventures Of Scrooge McDuck (still excellent @cookie ) for a little bit of inspiration for Inspector Gadget and I’m thinking about the plot:
It was more of the scheduling that did it in to be honest, even without the mixed reviews, opening a week after Samurai Pizza Cats 2 would’ve took away some OW, but I thought it was a cute film for what it’s worth and it’d have legs.
Since we doing this (although to be honest, we should wait for the advanced schedule (yes I am being hypocritical as I do this)):
Y5.
Larrikins: February
Brother Bear: late March-maybe early April
Dragon Ball: May
LGBT Superhero flick: June (I want this in Pride Month)
Inspector Gadget: early July (was going to do start of May but nothing big is around in July that’s a threat other than Pokémon in August not mention 2LBH besides I want a summer release and Endless Animation is basically the DWA/Illumination of CAYOM animation but the quality will go up)
Valkyries: 7/23/Y5
Barry Brookshire: late September
Lost Earth: 11/5/Y5
Squirell Girl: December
You forgot that the former faces Children of Eden as well as Squirrel Girl, sure both are counterprogamming but let’s remember TSW was the lowest grossing DOM out of the four main franchises. Not to mention the R rating and ceiling is much lower than Odyssey 3.
