  1. Forgot to do an update due to midterms but I have reports for Ralph 2 ticket wise but it looks really good and seems to be close to Coco. Grinch may be later tonight.
  2. https://www.google.com/amp/s/variety.com/2018/film/news/the-grinch-box-office-girl-in-the-spiders-web-1203020647/amp/ Grinch: $55M-$65M Dragon Tattwo: $10M-$15M Overlord: $8M-$13M
  3. @cayommagazine Endless Animation and Macy’s go all out for Thanksgiving as floats for their upcoming films in Y5, take to the skies in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. People will see giant floats of the main characters from the studios upcoming films, like Perci (Margot Robbie), an adorable yet somewhat of a control freak bilby and Red (Hugh Jackman), a rebellious, tough as nails kangaroo from Larrikins (which arrives in theaters February 5th, Y5), Inspector Gadget (Charlie Day) and his niece Penny (MacKenzie Foy) and dog Brain from Inspector Gadget (arriving in theaters June 4th, Y5) and Squirrel Girl (Anna Kendrick) from The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl (arriving in theaters December 22nd Y5). Ian Happs, head of domestic marketing for Endless Entertainment says the move was done to get a head start on the competition in Y5 as the animation field is looking competitive. “The early bird gets the worm.” says Happs “And we love to get a head start on that and are thankful for our friends at Macy’s.”
  4. Started to spitball ideas for Squirrel Girl but I’m 100% certain Vera Farmiga’s character will be like the Squidward of the movie.
  5. @cayommagazine Change of plans film score wise for The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, as Ludwig Göransson and Theodore Shapiro will score the film instead of Michael Giacchino. The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl arrives in theaters December 22nd, Y5.
  6. My Top 10 most anticipated (technically top 15) 10.) Pillars of Eternity: Never Far From The Queen 9.) Unbreakable Bond 8.) Baldur’s Bow/The Secret Saturdays/Heart Song 7.) Children Of Eden 6.) Lightspeed/Fantasia 3 5.) Rock N Roll Heart Attack 4.) One Punch Man/Voltron: Reunion 3.) The Eternal Storm: The Scavenger Wars II 2.) SkyRiders 1.) Two Lonely Bounty Hunters/Shiverin’ Gulch
  7. Inspirations for directors: Larrikins kept its intended directors. Brother Bear has David Lowry mainly due to I liked Pete’s Dragon as it and Jungle Book and Cinderella are Disney’s only good remakes. Lost Earth has a huge scope and I thought George Miller and James Cameron (producing but his presence) would be perfect although I’m nevrous about living up to the legacy. My major inspiration was after watching Avatar and thinking how the world would end as well as the process of evolution. I choose Dindal for Gadget due to @cookie‘s Scrooge/NOD along with Dindal’s ENG is what I wanted humor wise and the former showed his work with the family angle and the father (uncle)/daughter relationship of Gadget and Penny made me want to make the movie as well as provide the heart of the story. James Bobin was chosen due to his work on Freddy Zapper for Valkyries, Alex Hirsch and Daron Nefcy were also chosen for Barry Brookshire and Squirrel Girl based on their previous IRL for Gravity Falls and Star vs The Forces Of Evil F Gary Gray has done well with fun action blockbusters and I thought he’d be good for Dragon Ball. Love Simon was one of my favorite movies this year and with his experience of the CW DC shows, Berlanti was the natural fit for Valor.
  8. As much as I'd like this, did @cookie confirm this?
  9. @Blankments Lowry got Brother Bear due to Pete’s Dragon and me using Farveau for Lilo and Stitch.
  10. @Xillix since Insectoids moves to July 2nd and One Missed Call to August 13th. Move Inspector Gadget to June 4th Valkyries back to July 9th 101 Ways to August 20th, wide August 27th
  11. I’m moving Inspector Gadget back to June 4th then.
  12. @cookie The reason I moved Valor was mainly due to competition. With Countdown, Lightspeed, Xillix’s disaster flick and Voltron, as well as OPM in June, I didn’t want it to get lost in the shuffle.
  13. It’s way to early but when Y5 Movie Submission Page starts you’ll get it.
  14. It's more of the fact it has nothing to compete with for it's primary demographic, as Earthsong 2, TSW2 (biggest), and Associates (likely the casualty) will fight for the action crowd and some of the female crowd for the first two as Heart Song and Squirrel fight for famiies.
  15. There's a lot of animated films too: Larrikins - 2/6 SkyRiders- 4/16 2 Bounty 2 Hamster- 5/14 101 - 6/4 Insectoids - 6/18 Roger 2 - 6/25 Gadget - 7/9 SWAT KATS 3 - 9/10 Crackle - 10/1 Star Fox - 10/15 Fantasia- 10/22 Heart Song 12/10 Squirrel Girl 12/22
  16. Still to be honest, out of all the Christmas competition I see Eden having it the best.
  17. But you see mister, that’s where I unleash my reverse card.
  18. Do that and Brother Bear next to Heart Song or Duck 2.5 which ever one you care about most.
  19. Do that and I’ll move Lost Earth to face SkyRiders.
  20. If it’s PG-13, it would hurt even worse than if it were R rated, as they are much more competition that will harm the demographics even more. Not to mention we’d all likely roast @cookie on the rating change.
  21. If anything Tamara may be the most damaged. Sure it’s R rated but Earthsong 2 is the week before, reddroasts Superhero flick and Cookie Pictures likely still marketing Heart Song might dampen things. Not to mention Eden the week after. Not to mention Star Fox maybe PG-13, Heart Song moving to the 19th is a smart move as it faces double competition from both of its demographics (Squirrel Girl and Eden for families and females) sure Santa may be a small problem though but I think both would co exist.
  22. Not to mention American Dragon 3 is slated for the 5th. Heart Song vs The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl should be an interesting match up box office wise.
