    Still it opens 10 weeks before Lion King, will likely get the shaft of Disney marketing as the middle tentpole of three always suffers (I imagine 4vengers and TS4 being major priorities), as well as tough family competition (it may have a slightly harsh drop the next weekend and after that it faces Pets 2 and TS4, not to mention Pikachu can be a big factor and Uglydolls (I doubt it does over $50M) will still hurt.

    I think OS will do well and it will make a profit, I just don't see higher than Solo domestically.

    @cayommagazine Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) to write the songs for The Valkryies vs The Galaxy. The latter will help compose the score as well. The Valkryies vs The Galaxy comes out July 23rd Y5.

    I'd say Jungle Cruise has the potential to be Disney's next PoTC however I still can't help but feel Jumanji being so big would interfere.

    Yeah, after 2019 and what I’m guessing Little Mermaid and Stitch, Disney has nothing else to remake (I doubt they’d go a Frozen remake until the late 2020s) that’ll make massive amount of money. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if Lion King and Mulan are the only 2019-2020 remakes to do over $250M. Aladdin will be the Solo Of 2019, and Malicifent 2 is likely DOA. However when the live action remakes lose their luster I wonder what Disney will do.

    I seriously thought about Lin Manuel Miranda but I’m starting to overuse him, he’s wrote a song for Blue and Gold, I have him and Kendrick Lamar doing an animated musical (for the PG-13 animation crowd I’m currently uncertain about the rating so there’s that) and another musical. However in other musicians, next year’s Larrikins, Tim Minuchin both direct and songwrites for the movie

    @cayommagazine While Pasek and Paul will write a song for The Valkyries vs The Galaxy, due to their busy schedule Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Enchanted) will take over the music for the film. The Valkyries vs The Galaxy debuts July 23rd Y5.

    Not to mention, the whole In Theaters 2019 thing has me thinking the release date isn’t final. TBH, I always thought that when Disney bought Blue Sky it was going to be their new Disneytoon but for their streaming service.
