  1. Not to mention, the whole In Theaters 2019 thing has me thinking the release date isn’t final. TBH, I always thought that when Disney bought Blue Sky it was going to be their new Disneytoon but for their streaming service.
  2. Interesting although the film is slated for 9/13/19 but Fox hasn’t officially said the date. Wondering if the Disney buy out has anything to do with it.
  3. Might switch the songwriters to be honest down the line as I’m considering someone else to add.
  4. Don’t worry she gets to sing too.
  5. @cayommagazine Looks like the goodies are coming early. In July Y5, prepare for the musical event of the summer. The Valkyries vs The Galaxy, an original live action sci-fi comedy musical directed by James Bobin (Freddy Zapper, The Muppets, and for some reason Jonny Jonny). Inspired by cartoons like Josie and The Pussycats and Jem and The Holograms and in someways the Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters franchise, Cassie (Cierra Ramirez) is an average college freshman as well as the lead singer of a rock band formed during high school with her lifelong best friends, the popular straight A honor roll student other lead singer Veronica (Sasha Lane), the rebellious guitarist with a heart of gold Samantha (Awkwafina) and the snarky yet somewhat socially awkward but animal drummer Elisa (Taissa Farmiga). However, despite their passion for music, the four are very unknown but fates favors the bold and somehow they become known... by aliens. The four are whisked away across the galaxy forced to compete in an intergalactic battle of the bands by a jazz loving and swinging alien (Seth MacFarlane) and a weird gaggle of alien competitors as well as the typical adversary with disdain for the main heroes (Rami Malek) who is the four time winner. The winner of the contest become known throughout the galaxy. However the gang quickly learn two things. One, that not only must they use musical skills but have to compete in fights, survive against deadly beasts and tackle dangerous obstacles and Two, learning the losing planets become obliterated. However with the help of a wise mentor in another surviving veteran losing competitor (Shamiek Moore), they may have a chance for not only stardom but saving their planet. Pasek and Paul (The Greatest Showman, Kingdom of The Sun) will write the songs for the film and John Debney (Kingdom of The Sun) will score the film. The project aims for a PG-13 rating.
  6. Those films were incomplete if they weren’t on the schedule so they wouldn’t be eligible. Anything on the schedule is complete.
  7. Update: Cierra Ramirez has now tagged all four on Twitter, asking “Is there room for one more in the band?”
  8. @cayommagazine Taissa Farmiga, Awkwafina and Sasha Lane have all been teasing a project announcement with Endless Entertainment, tagging the studio on Twitter. The project will be revealed Saturday.
  9. @cayommagazine Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2) and Stef Dawson (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay) join the cast of Endless Animation’s Larrikins in undisclosed roles.
  10. A Paperman/Feast style would be cool. It blends both and it worked well for Pigeon in Y3.
  11. Bought Time she got to direct a project, I’m hyped to say the least. Guessing this’ll be a traditionally animated project.
  12. Yes, I read it wrong and thought @cookie was scheduling it for late December. My bad.
  13. You had to make things difficult for Squirrel Girl
  14. I’m confused on what you mean by this.
  15. @cayommagazine After the rousing success of Food Wars, Infinite Studios inks a five picture first look deal with Will Packer Productions to create films. It is interesting to note not all of the films in the deal will be comedies or live action. Their next projects are as follows and are aiming for a Y5/Y6 release: Instant Karma, a hybrid family comedy blending computer animation with live action, where a loving father yet notorious criminal (Kevin Hart) who is about to get married in five days, is killed in an accident during his bachelor party. In an effort to reunite with his loved ones, the theif begs for another chance at life is reincarnated as a housefly, and realizes the more he changes for the better, the better creature he is reborn as and must work his way back up to his normal human body. Instant Karma will be directed by Tim Story, Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat Productions will co produce the project, Animal Logic will provide the animation for the project and will arrive Y6. Child Support, a dramedy where an egotistical and rather isolated billionaire has learned he has three kids and must learn to be a good father or loses the one thing he cares about most: money. Child Support will be directed by Etan Cohen and will arrive Y5.
  16. Pokémon: Rise Of The Rockets Friday, February 14th Y4 7:30 PM 90% full Lots of young adults and teens are here as well as clusters of families. Quite a few gamers as well. Trailers: One Piece: The Journey Begins - some intrigue, mild laughs and chatter Can You Imagine? - Quite a lot of laughs, audience seems very invested Our City: Growth - A few laughs from the younger children but otherwise dead silence American Dragon: Darkness Rising - Scattered oohs and aahs as well as laughs, could potentially breakout The Second Crash Bandicoot - new trailer, audience laughed a little bit but unlike the first, the children found it more appealing and provided the majority Mass Effect - Lots of chatter and intrigue, audience was most responsive to this Pillars of Eternity: The Hollow Vale - Lots of intrigue but the trailer wasn’t suited for the younger audience Audience (as did I) throughly enjoyed it more than the predecessor. Lots of laughs from Gary, cheers at the action scenes especially the post credits. Legs should be stronger than the first.
  17. Once I’m done with these midterms, I’m going to start writing some of my smaller Y5 films. (Larrikins, Inspector Gadget, and Brother Bear, maybe God of War: Ascension) I have some fun ideas for the songs for the first one, including a song that is inspired by the Cell Block Tango from Chicago. The plot for the former is a mix of Finding Nemo and Moana, but the main theme for this movie about self confidence as well as taking risks.
