  1. Lion King has the best chance, June lacks a huge tentpole, Homecoming 2 will probably decrease DOM but stays flat or a slight increase WW, and the only real threat is Hobbs and Shaw which won’t be as big as F8te or F7 OS. IX will likely be $100M give or take from Last Jedi and 4vengers 4ever will do more or less the same.
  2. Perhaps Frozen can be used as a comp, but toned down obviously. Hunchback can also be a comp but different times.
  3. It was still going strong, it was still in the top 10 before Dime.
  4. Sure. But how? I would imagine due to the Oscars, films like Otherspace and Dime would get a significant boost as both were BP nominees in wide release at the time, Egypt would also get some boost as well.
  5. Anyone have any idea what we should do for totals Y3? It’s been a while since he’s been active and should we just wait for Hiccup to come back or should somebody just finish it? @Spagheditary @cookie @4815162342 @Xillix @Ethan Hunt @Blankments @Reddroast @Rorschach
  6. @cayommagazine Endless Entertainment is working adamantly to fix the quality produced by Infinite Studios films. It should be noted that last year, their highest ranking film on Metacritic was Under The Sea at 63. Infinite Studios is working on a slew of projects that won’t be just fillers. Infinite Studios wants to set up animated projects focused on a more adult audience and not computer animated. Their first project is the upcoming Family Guy Movie for this Christmas. In the works are James Wan’s stop motion horror comedy movie “What Goes Bump In The Night”, and an untitled traditionally animated project from Can You Imagine?’s Genndy Tartakovsky. Infinite also inked a deal with one of the pioneers of modern stop motion, Laika. Infinite Studios will also get their hands on a few tentpoles, like an R rated Blade and the family friendly but still very eerie The Spiderwick Chronicles. Not to mention, the highly anticipated, Bullets and Lyrics is being produced under the label. Infinite Studios has also inked a deal with Happy Madison Productions for a three picture deal, which includes Cabana Boys. Infinite Studios is also planning a plethora of films hoping to achieve greatness, like The New Girl, which has a lot of inside buzz as the thing to put them on the map.
  7. There’s a Jake Gyllenhall/Spark: Homeward dig in The Untitled Family Guy Movie.
  8. @Reddroast I found it. It is somewhere on page 6.
  9. It should be in the somewhere in the old Vanilla CAYOM forum. https://forums.boxofficetheory.com/forum/81-vanilla-cayom/
  10. In that case, I'll retract both Midas and Imagine from it, and wait to make something more worthy for the format.
  11. @cayommagazine The official plot for Skylanders has been revealed. ”The most fun, action packed installment of Endless Animation’s GameVerse has arrived with Skylanders. Skylands, a series of floating islands is the center of the universe that has access to all worlds. The heroes of Skylands are the Skylanders armed with death defying abilities and machinery to defend all worlds but when the evil, insanely powerful but often blundering Kaos (Richard Steven Horitz) hatches all plot to control all of Skylands, which... actually succeeds and brainwashed and corrupted most of the Skylanders with dark magic. With his new army Kaos plans to takeover all worlds. The newest Skylander, the rookie ninja, Stealth Elf (Letitia Wright), has escaped this fate and has recruited some of the greatest heroes ever (Crash (Chris Hemsworth) and Aku Aku (Keith David) from Crash Bandicoot franchise, Spyro (Ezra Miller) from Spyro: Dragonheart, and Pimple (Donald Glover), Rash (Chris Pratt) and Zitz (Charlie Day) from Battletoads) to take by Skylands and save their worlds. But if they want to save the day, they must learn to work together.” Skylanders is directed by Mark Dindal (The Adventures Of Scrooge McDuck, The Number One Dime) and Brad Bird (The Incredibles, Ratatouille) and produced by Chris Buck and Rich Moore. Skylanders is being written, produced and conceived by Endless Animation but Sony Pictures Imageworks will animate the project as they’ve done with all GameVerse movies. Skylanders will hit theaters June Y5. In addition to the aforementioned cast, Karen Gillian, Channing Tatum, Anna Kendrick, Ginnifer Goodwin, Steve Zahn, Patrick Stewart and Emma Watson will cameo in the film as well.
  12. In a way the finale had me excited for both the Duckverse and Season 2.
  13. Add Cinerama to both Can You Imagine? and Treasure Planet: Gauntlet of Midas @Xillix
  14. @cayommagazine Endless Entertainment is confirmed to release two tentpoles in the Cinerama format this year, the highly anticipated sequel to Treasure Planet; “Treasure Planet: Gauntlet of Midas”, for November 6th Y4, and Endless Animation’s “Can You Imagine?”, for November 25th, Y4.
  15. @cookie would love the season finale of Ducktales.
  16. Considering a Cinerama release for one of my films this year.
  17. @cayommagazine Our School is having a title change to The New Girl. Dove Cameron to play the lead role as Sierra. Ross Butler, Rico Rodriguez, Amandla Sternberg, Yara Shahidi, and William Dafoe to star as well.
  18. If all goes well for Blue and Gold, I have a lot of fun ideas for future films with lots of time travel involved.
