  2. Galentine's Day + theaters are running Valentine's Day discounts + people celebrate early. Also everything is kind changed up by Superbowl Sunday.
  3. I highly doubt it but would love to be proven wrong. I am thinking $4.2M-$4.3M for this weekend. I just don't see it holding better than this past weekend which would give it a $4.6M number.
  4. Mix that with the Valentine's Day deals at theaters too. It should be nice day after a dull weekend.
  5. Phew that is a solid drop for Knock at the Cabin. I was full expecting a 40%+ drop.
  6. Significantly higher. Most of the time it is sitting at 6-7% (Magic Mike is kind of an anomaly because it has so many showings, its percent number is gonna be lower.
  7. That's great drops! Here is how films are selling today at my place. Movie Sold Total Seats Percent Sold Titanic 105 870 12.1% Avatar 2 78 402 19.4% Magic Mike 3 207 2,164 9.6% 80 for Brady 323 1,592 20.3% Knock at the Cabin 142 744 19.1%
  8. @CayomMagazine Room 131's budget is confirmed to be $10 million. This means it will be the lowest in the Poison and Wine series. First film had a $12 million budget, second film had a $20 million budget, and third film had a $30 million budget. This is mostly due to the fact that the film is contained in a single setting much like the first film. Room 131 will have an identical runtime as Truth Is with 100 minutes long. Room 131 is confirmed to have an R rating. It cares a warning for graphic violence unlike the previous films, confirming the speculated change of atmosphere for the new installment. Film will open February 13th with previews occurring the evening on February 12th starting around 5:00pm. There is rumors that Giovanni the another long rumored spin off might be coming out in October. This production has been shelved for a few years due to creative differences on the story. Christmas Time Again is another shelved spin-off has seen some discussion rumored around it but it is less likely to hit cinemas anytime soon. The PG-13 Christmas musical was suppose to help break the series into wide audiences from the niche hard R LGBT heavy audiences. None of these productions feature the infamous duo Tyler and Hunter. I think we are all thankful for that
  9. Watching Looking on HBO. I remember watching the first 3 episode back when it came out and not getting hooked. Now that I am that age as the characters I find it pretty relatable. It is very binge friendly Season 1 (8 episode) Season 2 (10 episodes) and a 80 minute finale movie to end the series. The episodes are only like 30 minutes long and the pacing is very well done. The episodes do not drag. Highly recommend regardless if you LGBT or not. A
  10. 2012 and 2017 had February 13th fall on a Monday. In 2012 The Vow fell -64% just slightly better than the other films drops. Everything fell normal in 2017 expect Fifty Shades Darker which fell -58%. (Remember the Superbowl didn't occur on Sunday so these aren't spot on)
  11. Should Monday's drops be lighter due to the heavy drops on Sunday?
  12. 13. What is a solid percent seats sold showing nowadays? I remember pre-pandemic sell out were pretty common but now I'm seeing theaters in my area with average percent seats sold around 15%-20% per showing. Is that pretty much the standard with anything over 50% great?
  14. No not at all. I enjoyed it. Solid 8/10. It is an M Night movie so it has its quirks but its one of his more solid films.
  15. Ugh that Knock at the Cabin is just depressing
  16. I don't think this is gonna hit $100M It will probably crawl to $96M-$97M with Ant-Man hitting it hard.
  17. Anybody notice how some scenes (looks like Eric going into and in a church) from the trailer aren't in the movie. I wonder if we will get the extended cut?
  18. That is a big drop. I wonder if KATC will drop big as well
  19. Movie Title Gross %YD %LW Theaters Per Theater Total Gross Days In Release - (4) A Man Called Otto $380,000 -39% -41% 3,407 $112 $54,412,537 41 - (6) Missing $225,000 -38% -41% 2,565 $88 $23,812,185 20
  20. I feel like the talk around this film just died off. I think this will pull a Happy Death Day in terms of the sequel.
