  1. I haven't seen a Marvel movie since Endgame so I am always lost during these trailers. Looks okay but why do the visuals look off?
  2. I feel like next week. I am surprised they haven't opened them up yet with the flood of positive reviews.
  3. Anybody interesting in pre-reading Room 131? I am basically finished and looking for some "test screening" feedback because I am not 100% sold on the details.

  6. I think we are still adjusting from the pandemic. Look at last year: Sonic 2 was the first family film of the year and it came out April 8th. Sing 2 was the only family film holdover from 2021 and made $86.3M in 2022. This year, Puss in Boots 2 made $127M in 2023. Mario is coming out at the same time as Sonic 2 did and will easily out-gross Sonic 2. If anything it is finally adjusting back to normal. I think studios want to see the family demand in January-March before dropping films in that timeframe. Puss in Boots 2 success shows there is that demand. Also let's not ignore Avatar 2 and Spider-Man: No Way Home, which while not family films, do attract families.

  9. Seeing this next Sunday with my boyfriend. I am not a DnD player but my boyfriend is really intro DnD (makes sets, builds his own campagins, ect) so it will be interesting to see how we both walk away from this. I'll keep yall posted.
  10. If it follows Scream V daily increases then it will go: Friday- $7M Saturday- $10.3M Sunday- $5.8M Total: #23.0M If it follows the last big March horror film (US) it will go: Friday- $6.3M Saturday- $8.7M Sunday- $5.4M Total: $20.4M Personally I think it will miss $20M but the chance of it hitting $20M is not out of the question nor would it surprise me.

  12. DnD Sneak Peaks 3/26 (All Marcus Theater Locations- 21 theaters - one showing each) 286/2,499 - 11.5% percent sold
  13. DnD is getting a lot of sneak previews in my area (3/19, 3/26 and 3/29) and turn out for them looks pretty good. Quick question: Does the numbers for these sneak previews get added to the Thursday preview #? DnD could have a deflated Thursday ticket sales because of these sneak previews. I know for myself I was going to see it Thursday night but opted for the 3/26 sneak peak.
  14. DnD (17 days out) is tracking just slightly behind where Shazam! 2 is now 😅
  15. Madison/Milwaukee Area Previews for John Wick 4 Really strong start. Theaters really only have 2-3 showtimes and more will get added as we get closer. Total Sold Total Seats Percent Sold # of Showings John Wick 4 479 5,594 8.6% 28

  19. Just got out of Scream VI and really enjoyed it. It was a fun wild ride and exactly what I wanted out of a Scream movie. It isn't perfect and some moments are "eye rolly" but the film doesn't take itself too seriously. A- Audience was pretty interactive with the film in a fun way. It was a really fun movie experience.
