I think people are going to be very happy with this movie. Hope it can get to around $150m domestic.
By 'people", I think you mean critics and movie buffs. I don't think general audience will feel much about a 163-min artsy film.

The bigger critics like the movie as well. It should end up in the 75% range or higher.
Sales are massive already over 2 weeks out. This one is heading towards $180m with a possibility at $200m+ domestic.
If the scores are high enough, the insane thought of a $100m weekend is at least no longer laughable. I am on the $70m+ opening weekend for sure right now to be safe, but think $80m is growing more likely by the day.
" the insane thought of a $100m weekend is at least no longer laughable." Another hit from the same studio behind Wonder Woman (June) , Dunkirk (July), Annabelle: Creation (August) ?

What I hate the most about WB's incompetence on the movie side is how it damages the entire DC brand. Which sucks cuz DC is killing it right now with their comics, video games and tv shows
What if I told you I had waited for ages for someone at BOT to say this ? So beautiful...Thank you...

Alright superhero fans. Marvel and DC loonies. I bear new rumors and I don't like them. I really don't like them. I've shared the same post on both Batman and Joker threads on "On The Lot" but I want to bring the discussion to the main forum. I think this is something that once would belong on the JL thread, but since that thread is now sacred haven - and I do enjoy what the mods did for that place, I enjoy it one hell fucking lot - so I'm bringing the party to you here on the Franchise Wars thread.
"Hmmm...
I have read the thoughts of Jett from BATMAN-ON-FILM on this and I think I'm getting even more worried. He actually likes the idea, and I hate it because if what he is implying here is correct, well. It's just not good news at all for the DCEU. Here's what he said:
Source: http://www.batman-on-film.com/dccomics-on-film_film_news_Joker-origin-film-in-the-works_8-22-17.html
So yeah. I don't like even more how this is sounding. And if Jett is correct - and he has been literally spot on with everything regarding JL/Batman throughout this entire year - about Reeves Batman not being related to the DCEU at all, then I hate this news even more.
If this is the plan that WB has going for it, I'm literally out."
if WB goes this route , they are just gonna mess up the whole slate. Not only you will be literally out. The general audience will reject the idea as well. But I cannot say I didn't see that coming. When BvS got a 27% RT rating, I just knew this day would come. BvS , the movie that is supposed to bring them glory, turns out to be the movie that makes everything fall apart. How ironic it is...

http://www.thewrap.com/joss-whedon-feminist-hypocrite-infidelity-affairs-ex-wife-kai-cole-says/
'There were times in our relationship that I was uncomfortable with the attention Joss paid other women. He always had a lot of female friends, but he told me it was because his mother raised him as a feminist, so he just liked women better. He said he admired and respected females, he didn’t lust after them. I believed him and trusted him. On the set of “Buffy,” Joss decided to have his first secret affair.'
Let's all hope that this article won't affect movie critics' reception of Justice League !
Let's all hope that the actresses in Justice League were not disturbed by Joss!

This fake news, Ben's brother was joke
The audio clip just records what Casey said. If the site deliberately cut/made up some parts, then it was fake news. Otherwise, it is as true as it can ever be. Please understand what the definition of fake news is especially at this chaotic age.

6:30 minutes in Casey Affleck says he doesn’t think Ben is doing the Batman movie, and then what follows it up is just makes the whole thing confusing.
I was about to post the news. Thanks for doing it first. As you know, given that the JL thread is closed, we have to let JL/DCEU fans not overlook this kind of important news.

And guess who was one of the first posters here to gleefully peddle the news about Wonder Woman allegedly being a mess?
Yep, our dear friend about whom everyone needs to talk.
Ask him again about his predictions for WW's box office.
I live and die by my Wonder Woman box office prediction : 60/130/420 OW/DOM/WW
I don't feel ashamed at all because I already tried my best to make the prediction.

According to Batman-on-film.com, an early cut of the film Justice League was deemed “unwatchable.”

Well, it looked like the JL thread turned into a disaster while I was away from the thread... All I can say is that as long as the poster does not deploy personal attacks or take a vicious attitude, this forum should be a place of all kinds of opinion whether the poster is critical of the concerned movie or not. I always believe interesting discussions come out of the clash of ideas , not of the monopoly on views.

What's with this movie's tomatometer on RT?
It was at 100% 3 days ago and now it's at 69%.
It is called "You can only do the cover-up for that long." When more reviews come in , the true colors of that movie will be shown. It applies to all movies.

From the trailer alone, this looks like a cheap horror movie that just happens to feature some A-list star. But given that the debut date of this movie is sandwiched between two particular movies with this movie being one week apart from either of them... I am freaking GAME. THIS MOVIE NEEDS TO BE A SUCCESS. No other option is accepted.

Hell yeah ! My boy Paramount is killing it ! Don't move the damn release date. Just keep it there. It is time to show the other studios who got the real balls here. I am gonna be to BUMBLEBEE SPINOFF as That One Guy is to Valerian.

Leonardo Dicaprio > Ryan Gosling + Harrison Ford + Jared Leto combined. Also, you don't need to watch a 1982 Box Office bomb film to understand any element in The Revenant.
