DAMN! The rottens are coming in now aren't they?
Probably it would end up being 85-90. The rottens are coming...The red capes are coming...The rottens are coming...

Really enjoyed this.
Great visuals as expected from this kind of movie, humor that landed like 99% of the time for me, and a pretty good life lesson to wrap it up nicely.
Ya, the emotional part really kind of hit the home run for me.

Updated predicts:
OW: 82M
DOM: 265M
WW: 508M
It would be really great if it could hit those numbers. But, I seriously doubt it. At the end, I think it will do around 400M WW, which is still not bad.

I think many will agree it is not as good as the LEGO movie. The score would probably drop soon. My guess : 85-90.

LEGO batman movie is an action-packed fun-fest while justifiably earning the touching emotional beats of dealing with the psychological pains of Batman/Bruce Wayne.

A guy who worked on the visual effects of a number of movies like Mad Max Fury Road, Ant Man, Age of Ultron. So it is indeed possible he has a source at WB. He is also a part of the screen junkie news.

GOTG got 90% though.
Call it being greedy if you want but I think this needs at least a 7s average rating to not be labeled a "disappointment". It's inevitably going to be compared to the first Lego Movie and expectations are consequently raised. This isn't like M Night with Split where just being decent was enough to get people excited.
At least a 7s average rating to not be labeled a "disappointment"? Then, sorry, a lot of people are bound to be disappointed. As long as it is a decent movie, it is OK in my book. For people who still SOMEHOW expect it to top or be even as good as the LEGO movie, all I can say is "Good Luck."

Don't worry, guys. Warner Bros CEO Kevin Tsujihara earned an MBA degree from Stanford University. He must be very SMART. Otherwise he would not have got that degree. He could turn things around. In Kevin we trust!

The insider guy who works at WB. Of course he will say all the good things about the LEGO batman movie. So, take his comment on the quality of the movie with a grain of salt. Still, it looks like the reviews for this movie are gonna be so full of DCEU-bashing. He can already foresee it. LOL

I mean yes, of course they're going to say it's better than the DCEU. It's just a matter of whether it's a 60% movie, or an 80% movie, or a 90%+ movie. Still, good to know people like it
I am not greedy. If it is a 70% movie, then I am happy. For it to be a 90%+ movie, it means it needs to be on par with the LEGO movie. But, let's just face it, I think no one in the world will think it is gonna happen. From what I can guess, LEGO batman movie will probably be a very FUN movie like GOTG, but it will hardly have the magic trick/twist and the deep message as the LEGO movie. The FUN part can only get you so far to 70% and you need the SUBSTANCE to get you to 90%. So, 70% is probably the best it can get.

Also, I don't understand why they opened a new FB Account for the movie. They have an Account with 2m Fans of The Lego Movie they could advertise this movie to, instead they abandon that one to only reach around 250k at the moment.
LOL, that move is also bothering me. I never understand what those guys are thinking.

However this has the same talent group as The Lego Movie which boasted a 96% on RT, and even Storks got over 60% on RT.
Nah, I will be smart this time. I won't let these twitter reactions (even though they are verified) overhype me. I don't wanna be disappointed all over again. I will wait until the number of RT reviews is 30 in. Around that time, the verdict should be clear. Then, I WILL LET THE HYPE GAME BEGIN.

I think if verified people like it, then it's probably all well and good. Don't think I remember one verified account from the BvS situation.
I still remember some fan twitter reactions boast about BvS being the best Batman movie since the dark knight...then when the RT score is out...

Some reactions to the LEGO batman movie. But bear in mind, it can be some marketing ploy or tricks by WB as they might selectively allow people who like the movie to give out the reviews first. For people who dislike the movie, later. So, keep a tight rein on your expectations and wait until the RT score is out. The tweets are just for reference.

I am sorry but I still have to say the qualities of those films are extremely horrible.
The trailers alone already deter me from wanting to see them even for free. The jokes in JTTW2 are just more than cringe-worthy and embarrassingly bad.

Hello darkness my old friend...
People involved with DCEU are really having a bad time. Zack Snyder, David Ayer and Ben Affleck are all pretty much cursed.

No. But it was almost sure the release date is Mar.10.
Damn , WB's LEGO batman movie and WB's Kong are killing each other in China around that time.

The soundtrack of LEGO Batman will include a lot of pop songs from various artists, which I don't think is the same case for the LEGO movie back in 2014.

As soon as LEGO Batman movie is confirmed to be released in China, they release this. LOL. Happy Chinese New Year LOL

I was once a hater and a doubter. But after the second trailer ? In Power Rangers we trust. Cannot wait to see the reactions of those who said it would bomb hard.

Many fans reposted the micro blog of Lego's release date. Just worry about the WOM. Lego toys are hot but I don’t really know whether audience will like this type on screen.
To be honest, I don't think any sane person will expect it to be better than or even as good as the LEGO movie. As long as the movie can get 70-80 on RT, it is a win already.

Hell yeah! I really hope LEGO Batman can wash off some of the sour taste left on the Chinese by BvS with a fun interpretation of Batman. Even though I personally liked BvS ultimate edition, I know the Chinese hate BvS to the holiest of the holy. Hopefully the DC brand can still be saved in China.

Don't overestimate the competence of certain WB executives... Especially the Kevin guy...in case you need more evidence. http://www.slashfilm.com/geostorm-reshoots/
