With a multiplier of 4x legs it gives around 560M. It will do way more if it has great legs as you say yourself in the post. -

I should had prepared myself for stupid and ignorant posts like this but I guess I wasn't prepared. Course correct what exactly? - Great audience scores everywhere worldwide. You just have to look the individual threads in the International Box Office sub forum. - Great critical reception. - Nominated for bunch of awards for Best Picture and Best Director (Critics Choice, Golden Globes etc.) and will get nominated at the Oscars as well.

Based on the high scores on Douban (8.4) and Maoyan (9.3) this should be booming not the opposite. I can only explain it on the current Covid situation in China, I can't explain it on something else like lack of interest for example.

I agree with this reasoning in China. They know if they get Covid they would have to isolate and miss the New Years holidays. Unfortunately in China it seems is December 2020 and not December 2022.

Imagine if the reviews were actually bad what carnage BOF would have been. It's mostly all positive and we still have overreactions here. Chill because we won't know much after the first weekend. I will watch it on Tuesday most probably with a bunch of friends not on OW.

Why do you some care about a number on RT and MC? The movie will get nominated in all the major awards for Best Picture and Best Director. The numbers that all should be looking for this movie are audience reaction scores in all the different counties to see how high or low the box office can go.

Avatar 2 will get that harsh treatment but by the time Avatar 3 releases will have more favourable reviews compared to the last one.

In my country the movie will only be available in 2D format. Please tell me this is going to look good at least, in 2D. 😭 I can't believe I watched the original back in 2009 in 3D and now 3D is no longer available. SMH.

Maybe the should just stop production on A4 right now and cut their losses. Release A3 and end it.
