    Odds are the cut was closer to 2h and 30 min, but as they leave the screening it will have felt like a very long watch. I don't think the people (or person?) who said it's 3 hours actually went in with the intention of timing it to the minute.

    Sasha Stone updated her GoldDerby predictions for the Oscars on the 27th, and Dune is still on the Best Picture list. Unless she saw it after that and hasn't updated it yet (doubtful), it doesn't really seem like her view of its Oscar chances has been affected by seeing the movie. Obviously her predictions list is not the same as a preference list, but she doesn't seem to think its heading for a generally agreed upon reception that'll strip all its awards potential. Like what has happened with a few movies over the years.

    The existing Conjuring 3 wouldn't exactly have been Wan's Conjuring 3 so I don't know what you're trying to say here. But so far it seems to be leaning towards Malignant being worse.
