I always thought Moana release date was weird. It should’ve been release in Summer, it’s not a Winter movie. Maybe they thought it could’ve been an escape for those freezing their butts off?!?!

$320M+ seems possible for Ragnarok.

Reading the Deadline projections, I hope they are right about the 68 million 5-day for JL. I guess the 10.5 for today would be okay, but Deadline has consistently low balled JL with their early numbers since the preview numbers. Nevertheless, nothing in that article is negative for JL.
10.5 is alright it'll likely have a smaller drop tomorrow. Also it had a great Tuesday jump. I do expect it to rise.

I love it when a lot of movies are doing and holding well at the box office at the same time.

@ZeeSoh I found the problem
The next two weeks will decide the fate of the Justice League movie. It’ll open in Japan and Pakistan later this week and debuts in Lebanon on the 30th. The film should be over/under $325 million worldwide as of yesterday, with a solid $10.55m Tuesday in North America for a new $111.9m five-day cume. At least it has already passed Green Lantern and Catwoman.
Maybe it can do well in Pakistan considering it's doing really well in Asia.

Well, as long as it doesn't get terrible WOM, it's definitely going to pass TGD. But I figured that was the case anyway. TGD was awful.
I loved TGD!

If it holds better than MJ2 this weekend then 300 Domestic is certainly alive.
Anything over 180 10day puts 300 domestic on the table.
Nah next weekend will drop by 55%+.

its still immature behavior that should belong on the closed imdb boards not here. Lets see where this ends up on. DCEU already made 3.4 billion on ticket sales alone from 4 movies. With a combined budget of 799 millon combined. this is not even counting JL. DCEU will be fine. They will do phase 2 now start with solos and sequels then move into JL2 eventually kind of like the MCU way. Then likely with a more controled budget of 150-180 million for the solos. more safe for profit
Losing $50M-$100M as the article states would make it one of the biggest flops... I was just going off by what you said.

250-260 makes me happy if true.
Right now JL has A 33.7% to a 66.3% WW Ratio
apply that same ratio to that domestic total
And it’s 500mil foreign.
We May have just jumped the gun on JL.
Only time will tell.
Missing 100mil hurt the film chances at 300 Domestic.

It's not a bad number. I sense a 55-60% drop this weekend then another 55-60% next weekend.

Let me correct myself ,
Respectable for a CBM.
Not one with a $300M budget and with famous as heck source material with the most known superhero characters.

But respectable, Sure it’s Should be higher but it shows WB they need to up thier game.
They also need to have better strategy with the release dates.
JL should have had SS release date as The November Release date didn’t pan out.
In order for any of the films they release to get to the full potential they need to focus more on summer release dates and empty months.
Respectable would be $900M+.
Alright would be $800-900M

Defeat is accepted ,I’m trying to see where it’s going.
Will it be sub 600/225/375 or 700/250/450.
700mil is respectable 600mil
is not.
$700m is pretty piss poor for this movie.

Even with the lower actuals JL still held better than MJ2 ,15% sat drop only 1.0% or so on Sunday .
MJ2 Sat drop was 25.8% ,31% sun drop.
Im comparing the films that it has opened close to around the same time instead of a Superhero film.
Thor didn’t have Schools out on its first Monday as JL will have all of them for the next 7 days so it should lighten the drops.
Trust me even good legs will add up to a total disappointment. You can’t spin this into anything good or positive. I guess maybe this’ll make WB get it’s sh-t together for the future.

Every film got slaughtered this weekend with the exception of Bad Mom's 2. Huge drops for hold overs.
Next weekend should be sexy for holdovers.

It didn’t get totally blown out by JL. Should cross $800M by next weekend.

I can live with that drop. Hopefully it goes up to $22M with actuals.

Looks like <$700M is probably happening.

He can't blend into the role.
I look at him and can't help to see Ben Affleck the actor/celebrity.
But I would put his Bruce Wayne/Batman in the top 3 easily, maybe the top 2.
Him playing himself just works for me. Idk maybe his personalty just fits the role.
I don't buy he's one of the reasons DCEU isn't doing well.
