    I think Harvey Weinstein scandal is hurting box office. People are just turned off by Hollywood now.

    Tyler Perry movies always seem to be under predicted. Just cause it doesn't interest you doesn't mean there isn't an audience for it.

    It was a box office failure but wasn’t it always predicted to be. The movie itself I thought was nowhere near one, I loved it and appreciated the craft a lot.

    Wow those drops are good but a bit expected since Tuesday increases were on the low side for most movies expect The Foreigner and Mountain Between Us.

    52.7% drop for Blade Runner. That’s pretty standard for as Sci-fi films. Hopefully it legs it out to $100M DOM and $300M WW.

    $98M OS and it opened in SK over the weekend. $200M OS should be doable?

    I can see Get Out being like Straight Outta Compton. A lot of hype for noms but then only gets Screenplay.

    This feels a lot like a movie directors would appreciate. It is very much a directorial showcase.

    I’m not predicting it to win. But I do think the film can elicit enough passion to get nominated for BP and the directing branch have been known to throw curveball noms. Hugo was a flop and it won 5 Oscars, so was Master and Commander. I do think it is the frontrunner for Cinematography and Visual Effects.

    Say what you want about Blade Runner 2049 but it can win 2 or more Oscars. (Visual Effects, Cinematography, Production Design, one of the Sound Mixing category) It can also get nominated for BP and Director.
