Yeah that seems true but barnack had a great post in avatar 2. Google search trends of avatar has matched all the big franchises every year since it's release. Anything related to it kn youtube is getting good views. Interest is definately there. I can see avatar 2 do anything b/w 1.5 billion and 2.8 billion.

According to deadline, after merch, rental, and if this makes 850 WW, profit will be 280 million. In next five years they could make one just to promote merch and rides.

I knew new zealand and Australia only for their cricket teams. I don't know why but I always thought new zealand was near america. When I learned hugh jackman is a aus and that he loves cricket, I was so happy. Just in last two years I come to know many nz entertainers, taika, how to dad, etc. I like their humor. I learned that nz is near Australia by a subreddit- r/mapswithoutnz.
