85% of 'Murican BOT members will gloat if Avatar 2 makes 200m on US soil.
Sad.
Just like you gloat every fucking time an MCU instaCBM opens? Just like you gloat every fucking time a DCEU film gets bad reviews? Or if it gets good reviews, just like you gloat claiming they were "an homage to the MCU"? Right?

The SW movies look pretty good but then again, there's very little creativity in those effects anymore it's literally just the same space ships we've seen for 40 years with like an extra antennae somewhere.
True. Whether its Wonder Woman, BP, JL or IW, its always the same ole third act greenscreen fight with lots of fire, explosions, things zooming/flying by, energy beams, and badly rendered bodies hitting each other. Its like they run out of budget at that point or something...

I won't discuss CGI with anybody, I just can offer facts....(SNIP)
None of that wall of text negates the FACT that the CGI in BP was atrocious.
There's your food for reality.

See you in January 2019.
I will soo enjoy reminding you of this once BP does not get the VFX nod (for its awful sub-video game-level CGI).

From now on, men in action movies should let their significant others defend themselves, or die.
I know, right? The MCU is so good at this. All those solo female superhero films that they have released are so awesome, and all the wonderful showcases for their awesome female characters in all those wonderful superhero films in which their female characters totally save the day are amazing.

I am feeling this will surprise. It's action flick, yes, but more relatable, no scifi/SH. Adults might be interested in this, and this is hard to see using social media tracking.
Plot is clear. Star is huge. Trailers are effective.
And never underestimate the potential female audience this will get. The Rock is an attractive dude, the film is all about a relateable male hero protecting one's family, and it seems like Neve Campbell's role has a tad more to do than the typical girlfriend role.

Black Panther will get a nomination for best VFX.
Deal.
With.
It.
Just like Jlaw got a Best Actress nomination for mother! and Passengers got a nod for best script? LOL
How did YOU deal with that?

And people mock JL and WW. This looks like a videogame 😂
To be fair, people have mocked BP plenty for its awful CGI too. I don't know WTF happened, but Wonder Woman, Black Panther, and Justice League have some of the worst CGI work I have ever seen on a major Hollywood blockbuster. Hopefully, the sequels to WW and BP will correct that.

Yep.
Still confident that Baumer's prediction (over 200 million domestic) will happen.

Shes fast...but would she beat the Cheetah ?
Wonder Gadot? I am going to take a wild guess and say that the owner of that horse is a fan of the first film and of Ms. Gadot herself.
Just a wild guess.

The fact that someone looks at a strong female superhero like Wonder Woman and think of Marvel is astonishing.
He is just mad because Jlaw did not play Wondy.

Awesome that the film is getting great reactions!!!
(Why did the DCEU not plan a live-action TT film from the get go is a mystery to me. The George Perez/Marv Wolfman New Teen Titans is one of the most cinematic, fun, thrilling, action-packed, potentially crowd-pleasing run in comic book history.)
Oh...and the countdown to the moment when The Futurist asserts that this film is "a solid homage to the MCU" starts...now:
-
I feel that this is one of those films, like Ghostbusters 2016, for which making a sequel would simply be too much of a hassle (and not enough of a financial incentive)...
I know that this is a relatively cheap film, but the salaries combined must be a pretty penny...

Uh oh...the troll is on it again! Better get that threadban ready, mods!

This thread is funny!
Anyway, Tymothy Chalawhatshisface is what?
Why is this utterly bland skinny dude all the rage now?

If true, then the DCU has not learned a damn thing.
snyder was a producer in Wonder Woman, and evidently, he was unable to taint that with his touch of cinematic death. Hopefully, the same will happen with Flash.

I can't remember who mentioined this before, but I am starting to believe that this whole Steve Trevor thing might be all in Diana's head...courtesy of Dr. Psycho (the film's true villain[?]).
Poor Diana.

Why? What does this picture signify?
Hello, Baumer. I have been a huge fan of Wonder Woman (and DC comics) since I was a kid. Just seeing Kristen Wiig in character as the Cheetah, whom I have also loved since forever, signifies that this is really happening, and I will finally get to see a Wonder Woman/Cheetah fight in live-action, big-screen splendor!

Bravo.
Futurist and Laughing Evans' MCU-ass-licking selves seriously think that the MCU somehow created the template for superhero films, and now, whenever a non-MCU CBM succeeds, they literally believe that it was an "homage" to the MCU.
LOL
And then they wonder why so many people hate the MCU films: being a clueless MCU fanboy is not helping.

I have not seen all the MCU movies so I could be missing the reference here, didn't felt like an hommage to the MCU (and that would be quite the strange think to do for people that were already growth up adult when those movies started just yesterday)
According to Futurist, all movies ever made come from the MCU womb.
MCU is god, and nothing else compares to them (yes, he is *that* stupid).
Get with the program.

I ve said it already but I ll repeat :
The creative team behind Wonder Woman have no idea how to tackle the character.
None.
Make one movie to introduce the character in the past, ok, good, origin movie etc I'll allow it.
The first movie worked because of the WWI setting, perfect way to sell the hope theme when children are dying ...
Make the Second movie in the past just shows you don't know how to sell Wonder Woman s values in modern times so you dodge the bullet by design.
They have the exact same problem with Superman but for now, they just avoid to confront it because nobody knows how to crack that puzzle.
Note : I loooove Wonder Woman, perfect hommage to the MCU and Superman, best from both worlds.
That being said, we ll see the angle they choose, but 1984 is a long time ago, somewhat.
Yeah...just shut the EFF up with your repeptitive crap. Obviously, your trolling will get you threadbanned on the WW84 thread, so you felt that your opinion that nobody cares about was necessary here.
You have no inside knowledge of the decision-making process in WW1984, so your saying that setting it in 1984 is because they don't know how to handle her is just your same ole same ole BS chance to, once again, poison the well and sneak in your myopic "MCU films are masterpieces" crap.
I mean "WW is an homage to MCU"? Are you on crack?
Go back to your masterpiece theatre of one-size-fits-all MCU gems.
Also, watch as WW84 outgrosses Captain Marvel and come back here to troll again...

This franchise has so many ways to keep churning out sequels and still seem fresh. There are potentially endless stories that could be told, from so many people who have experienced the Purge.
