There don’t seem to be very many other places to move the Flash movie to. I guess they could try September, but that would give them less time for post-production.
If all goes according to plan, AT&T won’t be owning WarnerMedia for much longer, so I don’t think they have any particular ambitions for it at this point.
The next Halloween movie is going to take place in a post-COVID world? Is that going to factor into the story, or is it just going to casually be mentioned in throwaway dialogue?
The difference is that Sony doesn’t own Spider-Man outright. They don’t profit off any of the merchandise. In that sense, Ghostbusters is their closest equivalent.
I don’t really understand why these big studios can’t just swallow their pride and give the IATSE what they want. Why would they be willing to grind all their productions to a halt just because they don’t want to allow for better working conditions?
