To be fair, if trying to hide a group of people dislike for something isn't censorship (especially as they likely do this to protect companies), I'm not sure what it could be called.

Not saying the decision to hide "dislikes" was necessarily bad. I could just see why it's called censorship.

It’s not like they removed the dislike button. People are still free to dislike videos. It’s just no longer visible to the public.

I'm pretty sure they changed all this after the exacerbation at Gaza. And it's not like every character that makes it to the movies is faithful to their comics counterpart so don't see what difference it would have made changing her name (unless there's some unknown Sabra fanbase I'm unaware of)

I mean that I don’t know why they’d even go through the trouble of adapting such a controversial character if they’re gonna radically change her anyway. Might as well have not even bothered in the first place.

I wonder, if Cameron ever loses interest or is otherwise indisposed, unable to film parts 4 and 5...

Which of the current directors would be best equipped to mimic his style? Here i am not asking about people's favorite directors who would leave their own mark on the movies. But someone so good at mimicking Cameron as a director that most people could not tell the difference.

Personally, even though i have a few imperfect ideas, (kosinski, cuaron) i don't have a name who'd be a perfect fit.

It seems like the simple choice would be Robert Rodriguez

I legitimately find it very hard to believe that this many people organically and independently hated the trailer music that much. Either people are seeing comments and piling on because they feel that's the natural critique when doing a post, or there's some sort of active conservative coordination against it. But I'll say flat out I do not believe regular viewers including many on this board saw the trailer and thought "wow bad music" until they read the comments here and felt they were supposed to say that.

Wouldn’t conservatives be more likely to like the song, given that it’s Kanye? Or do they hate him now?

  5. Why would anyone think putting a Kanye song in your trailer is a good idea in 2024? It also seems distinctly hypocritical coming from Paramount.

To be clear, I’m not saying this will negatively impact the movie. It’s just a bafflingly tone-deaf idea, given all of Kanye’s controversies over the past few years. Then again, I suppose Paramount is pretty good at not reading the room.
