  1. After having watched it, I felt like it would've been a decent trailer, if the actors weren't giving major substitute teacher energy and if the main fight between the hero and villain was more visually intriguing. You have superman like powers, but you're fighting hand to hand Jason Statham battles?
  2. This is supposedly widely regarded as the worst MCU movie up until Phase 4/5.
  3. Their best movie and the movie that launched the franchise into INFINITY AND BEYOND happened under his leadership.
  4. I don't have much evidence to make the base, but I believe it would've gotten at least $300M WW, if it kept the summer release date. The one near BarbieHeimer.
  5. Disney has gotten into too many social justice battles as of late. I suspect this will affect the bottom line as the base audience seems more of the "anti-SJW" type. And if you can't capture the base audience, what hope can there be to capture the general audience? This, coupled with MCU movie quality collapse (into the abyss) , general cape crusader fatigue, less people willing to spend money at the boxoffice compared to summer, an internet despised character/actress, has this film projected to post the biggest sequel boxoffice collapse since WW1984 (COVID) and Alice in the Wonderland 2.
  6. Honestly, it just feels sad at this point. I get the feeling that this going to do what WW1984 did to Wonder Woman. In getting the character cancelled and written off. Some interesting facts about the lead developers of "The Marvels" The only thing memorable that the director has to her name is Candyman. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4804442/?ref_=ttfc_fc_wr1 The other two writers have at most THREE previous writing credits to their name https://www.imdb.com/name/nm6876585/?ref_=ttfc_fc_wr2 https://www.imdb.com/name/nm6418980/?ref_=ttfc_fc_wr3
  7. we need presales to boost, so that Zatt and Spider can come back and make this thread 300 pages. #MakeBOTGreatAgain
  8. Imagine if you will a Captain Marvel movie that borrows/steals from Man of Steel + Top Gun (1988) + Vin Diesel's Riddick.
  9. $250 million dollar budget movies making sub $300million is surely a sustainable business model
  10. In all likeliness, superhero movie will likely go the way of the western. Martin Scorsese is probably laughing from his glass house right about now
  11. He lurks here, but hasn't officially logged on since last year. What is he afraid of?
  12. You're suggesting a bigger collapse than Alice and the Wonderland 2? Is it too late to can the characters?
  13. The Main Character is a Air Force Pilot, but couldn't even conjure up an iota of this dogfight scene from Iron Man.
  14. Speaking of old sitcoms, I just found out that there is a Ultra HD Widescreen Reboot of Frasier that came out about a month ago.
