Why have you hype for the Oscars? Because Brad Pitt is on it? The academy has never noticed Gray. Do you think this is gonna be a box office hit? I doubt it. He's not that great as author and neither his movie are appealing for a bigger audience or the Academy. What do you mean with "the future of cinema is streaming". All the movies in a months subscription like the Netflix model? Some people I don't know why thinks this when the only possibile future is we will pay a ticket for every single movie we choose to see like now, just at home.

Nah, just soulless copies of the highly influential disney movies in the animation movie history. They are derivative, without original ideas, a recognazible style, writing. They are a bland copy of the originals aesthetics with no impact in the industry or to others filmmakers. I mean even bad blockbuster movies like transformers have been influential or roland emmerich films. These remakes are just a one shot experience for most of the people.

What are strange phenomenon these disney remakes are. I think in the history of movies we never have such irrilevant movies doing so many money.

What i mean it's they already have done the most important films. What they can announce? Bambi?. It will never be big like the remakes of the 90's movies.

They have only the little Mermaid (but i don't see it big as The beauty and the beast and the lion king but still over a 1B) and Mulan. Pinocchio, Snow White, Crudelia, The sword in the stone are more likely to make something between Dumbo and Cinderella (350-550M WW).

I'm not sure about the legs, the movie is really different from what people can expect from Tarantino + Hollywood + a Charles Manson's plot , and i would say from what the general audience love to see from Mr. Tarantino. If you think is something like the basterds or Django, well you're wrong, it's something more similar to the hateful 8 (but it's a MUCH better movie) and Jackie Brown.

I think people are too much pessimist These are tarantino opening with inflation Kill Bill 1 33M Kill bill 2 36.5 M Inglorious Bastards 46M Django 33.7 (and it didn't open on a friday but weekdays cause it was christmas) The hateful eight opened with limited and then 15M with the wide release. Why some people think this gonna open in the mid 20s? Come on, maybe i'm too optimistic with 50M but i can't really see this with less than 38-40M.

From blockbusters to indie movies there is like a big sea of movie choices you can make. In my opinion it's more easier became a recognizble name making a Pretty woman or a Drive than being on Thor 5 or whatever.

I hope the movie will make great numbers in the first week cause i don't know how long its legs can be.

Yes, in cannes, It's an incredible movie, the direction is maybe the best of tarantino. Brad Pitt has really really strong choices to win his first Oscar if they choose the supporting category. The final I guess will be a little bit controversial but I like it. It's not a movie for the generic movie lovers there are there only when him or scorsese make gangster movies or movie about rich people in wall street, there is a lot of talk, like A LOT. That's why they culdn't show more in the trailer, there isn't something more to show in a trailer. You have to watch it and that's all.

This seems like the most generic and bland of all the new announced movies, similiar to all the old movies. As just a casua viewer of these movie i will definitely skip it like I did for ant man 2 or captain marvel, at this point zero interest. Blade looks interesting, Maershala Alì is a great choice and i liked the first Doctor Strage, his world is interesting so I will see the sequel. The one with the chinese looks kinda interesting too.

I don't see it doing great numbers, tom cruise is good only for over 55 people and it's not the 1986, gay teens now have a lot of more interesting things to masturbate to.
