I mean yeah. The ticket prices have started to increase. At WW2 admits we will have 7.75-7.9B grosser today. That's $1200M plus today, with improving exchange rates, that may get even bigger. So $1B is pretty low target IMO. We should be talking about $1.25B+.

Actually if you are considering worldwide, the first Monday record was broken by The Mermaid in Feb 2016 itself. Furious 7 had $30M Monday in April 2015. In USA Black Panther broke the record, no?

IDK, I guess hiding dragon in marketing would have been better thing to do. Not only Dragon is underwhelming than what image of dragons we have, but it also hurt the intrigue factor which Teaser had as in search for the "Last Dragon".

@filmlover I think Raya releasing on D+ isn't because premier access is success but Disney is testing Premier access. Mulan was pure PA without theatrical release. Soul was without PA and theatrical release. Raya is with PA and theatrical release when COVID is starting to get better. So three different test points for Disney to figure this out.

@bulletproofsqui told me that since Hi, Mom isn't an action film, it may start dropping once it burn its audience. Which is weird because I think comedies and Dramas have better legs than action everwhere. We see how stuff like Dangal trended or NeZha for that matter, but I would like to say since he is local, he knows better so let's hope we don't see a burn out soon. I am expecting ¥6.5B+ full run for Hi, Mom. Let's see.
